Also, tonight on Eastenders, BBC1 at 8pm, you can watch LAA Artistic Director, Simone lahbib who plays Katy Lewis, in their New Year’s Day special.

Simone advises the episode is not suitable for younger viewers and students since the storyline involves Danny Dyer’s character Mick Carter’s confrontation scenes with Kate who Simone plays who he accuses of sexually abusing him in care when he was 12.

We are so proud of LAA student Diaana Babnicova who is smashing it as ‘Shonelle’ in ‘School of Rock’, London, Dury Lane.

Simone our artistic director went to see Diaana in the show last night and said she was absolutely brilliant!

If you haven’t seen this fantastic show yet, we highly recommend you do. Definitely one of the best in London. The children are phenomenal!

Lovely article in ‘The Herald Scotland’ yesterday about LAA artistic director Simone Lahbib and the launch of ‘Nite Life During Wartime, Edinburgh And Beyond 1980-90’s’, book of photographs by Innes Reekie (Simone on the front cover.)

The article also mentions LAA and LAM as well as student/client Dylan McKiernan, who was in Ken Loach’s multi award winning ‘I, Daniel Blake’
