At The Little Shooting Stars we embrace intersectionality positively. As it helps our nursery environment to flourish to become more diverse encouraging and accepting values and differences with respect. we help children to discover their shared experiences as opposed to focusing on their differences.

Snacks are provided for all children at The Little Shooting Stars. This, we feel, helps children maintain their energy levels while also providing them with essential nutrients to aid their growth, development, and learning. 😋

Benefits of Dramatic Role Play in Play Kitchen:

🌟Allow children to imitate frequent scenarios that they are familiar with. Play kitchens allow children to depict themselves in new positions, whether they are playing head chef, waiter, kitchen porter, or parent at home. 🌟 Children Learn more about themselves and the world around them. Children learn about their likes and dislikes, their interests, and their abilities through dramatic play. They make sense of what they've seen and are able to articulate new thoughts and feelings as a result. 🌟 Improve their knowledge and abilities. Consider your child pretending to be a grocery store owner. They organise similar wooden fruit into portions and rank by qualities. When deciding costs, they employ arithmetic concepts. Making signs allows them to develop their writing skills. They play around with different forms and weights by reorganising the store. They work together as they assign jobs within the store, such as "Mum, you're the customer, and you're here to buy some bread." 🌟 Develop new competencies and grow confident. Undirected play allows children to learn how to work in groups, to share, to negotiate, to resolve conflicts, and to learn self-advocacy skills. When play is child-driven, children practice decision-making skills, move at their own pace, discover their own areas of interest, and ultimately engage fully.

Social Development-Children's social and cultural backgrounds help them understand who they are. Children's emotional, social, physical, and linguistic development are influenced by the cultural influences they are exposed to from birth, such as eating practises and beliefs, artistic expression, language, and religion.
