From Stagnant to Signing 2 new clients in 5 weeks 🤝🏼

Client B worked tirelessly to get their business off the ground, but wasted a lot of time:

- Reading various books
- Watching YouTube videos
- Listening to business podcasts

So many new coaches fall into this trap, binging free content and trying to put the puzzle pieces together themselves.

(Consuming information from a range of sources will just leave you confused).

After realising this path wasn’t working, they took to leap to invest in coaching.

5 weeks later they have:

👏🏼 Signed 2 new clients
👏🏼 Made their investment back
👏🏼 Have a plan to continue to sign and retain clients

If you are done wasting time on freebies, ready to hit $10k+ months as a coach and say goodbye to the corporate world forever, fill in the form in the discovery section (results guaranteed 🤝🏼).

Ps. B is one of many client journeys I’ll be sharing in the coming weeks - stay tuned!

I asked my boss for time off for my wedding, this is how it went…

(It’s me, I’m the boss 🤭).

In the last month, I’ve spent time in the Middle East, Crete, and Paris.

4 years ago this wouldn’t have been possible.

I was shackled to my corporate career, the fear of returning to a tidal wave of tasks and emails made staying put at my desk the more appealing option.

2 years ago this wouldn’t have been possible either.

I’d shifted into business but the income was unpredictable.

Now, my business supports the lifestyle I’ve always dreamed of.

Here’s exactly what I did to achieve consistent $10k months as a coach (save this):

1. Create an offer that works for both you and your clients

Offering one-hour calls to try and get people through the door results in inconsistent income and not enough time for clients to see results. Having a structured irresistible offer that you are confident in selling is a game-changer.

2. Dropping ‘hacks and tactics’

Social media is swimming with tips and tricks, but predictable consistent results come from a strategy that works. Trends ≠ Sales.

3. Simple systems

Without the right systems in place, we spend far too much time on backend tasks. These systems don’t have to be complicated or expensive, but they do need to buy you your time back so that you can be in the market more, networking and selling your services.

If travelling to multiple countries a month, leaving corporate for good, and having a stable business that you actually enjoy running is your current goal (but you aren’t quite sure how to get there) - fill in the discovery form (link in bio).

Ps. Where’s next on your travel list? ✈️

It’s giving… baby reindeer 👀

Are you chasing the algorithm like a crazy stalker?!

Jokes aside…

Every day I see posts that talk about hacking the algo. It’s impossible.

There’s not just one algorithm, there are multiple behind every platform. They are constantly being updated, with some even using AI, meaning they are learning and evolving every second of the day.

By trying to please the bots, you miss the humans.

To grow an audience of ideal clients, you need to focus on delivering value and connecting beyond content.

I covered this in-depth in a previous post (Linked on stories)

Did baby reindeer freak anyone else out or just me? 😆

Do you often shut down or hold back in professional conversations? 🤐

Many professionals hold back, 😟 worried they'll be seen as too assertive or bossy (this was me too). Yet, effective communication is key to your career progression and business success.

Ignite your career growth with these five golden nuggets:

1. Master the art of tone 🎶
Project confidence with a calm, measured approach. Word choice is crucial.

2. Conversations, not commands ❓
Try phrasing like 'Have you thought about...?' or 'How about giving this a shot...?' Engage, don't dictate.

3. Be inclusive and acknowledge 🌟
Recognize others' input and weave them into the dialogue. Foster a welcoming atmosphere.

4. Storytelling and metaphors, your secret weapons 📖
Convey ideas through relatable examples. Soften your impact and improve comprehension.

5. Hone your active listening 👂
Value others' input and establish trust by genuinely caring. Make sharing your thoughts a breeze.

Assertiveness is an acquired skill, not a negative trait.

“If you feel uncomfortable do it” is often used as a blanket statement.

As I was paragliding today, I was thinking about the fine line between feeling uncomfortable and feeling unsafe.

Previously, Ive leant into what felt like being uncomfortable in order to grow my career, only to realise that the feeling was more than just feeling uncomfortable. I actually was taking risks that made me feel unsafe.

These risks put my nervous system in a trauma response and I couldn’t respond proactively to the opportunities ahead.

During this time, I realised that…

We now live in a world in which lazzyyy marketing, selling, mentoring or advice is given -

Such as - If you feel uncomfortable do it or lean in.

These statement are too generic and miss some huge pieces.

Yes, people who do uncomfortable things, do typically get further in their career quicker because they are risk-taking.

They risk take once they’ve built safety within themselves.

You have to create a level of safety within you first before you take the risk.

Building safety could be - what’s plan B if this doesn’t work out, or what’s my financial runway if this investment doesn’t work out or just a feeling.

Before you take on the new job opportunity, or next career turn, tune into yourself and figure out if it’s pulling you out of safety or putting you into the growth zone in which your career progression will start to accelerate.

At this point you need discernment to figure out if you’re playing small with your career or if you’re really pulling yourself out of safety.

Really listen to the feelings in your body and use your authority and self knowledge to figure out if this feels right feels good feels nourishing for you.

Your body and intuition is always talking to you guiding you to an incredible career path via its whispers.

Your true growth zone feels grounded and stretches you.

Puts you in a proactive response where you feel like you can kick arse and you’re energised.

Here’s something I know about you…

You've become a leaders because you consistently assume radical responsibility at every point in your career journey.

However, you're now working with a disruptive leader who is making you feel overwhelmed and drained. 😅

This individual insists on micromanaging and leading meetings despite having no knowledge or context.

You're eager to eliminate this distraction and return to your passion for producing exceptional work, driving the business forward, and collaborating with like-minded leaders.

As someone who has been in your shoes, I understand your frustration.

Rather than allowing this experience to become a source of aggravation, consider transforming it into a moment of personal growth by asking yourself a few questions.

1️⃣ Why is this situation is triggering you?
2️⃣ Why does their micromanagement and lack of trust feel personal?
3️⃣ What actions can you take to improve the situation?

The incredible part here is that you have the power to choose to take radical responsibility that will change the dynamic of your relationships.

You’ve proven to yourself time and time again that choice and change starts with you.

You’re the spark…let me know how it goes.

As a highly successful person you've managed to rationalise & think yourself into an amazing career. But…

Is your brain driving ALL of your decision making?

Your brain is LOUD and is an active talker.

Your heart is soft, quiet & whispers.

You’re likely listening to your head over your heart and that it’s totally normal in Western Societies in which we’ve been taught to rationalise & logic everything!!!

^ This was a lesson that I too had to unlearn.

Your logic & head is amazing, truly it’s capacity is extraordinary but as a high performer you’ve likely using it too much & it could be the reason why…

☁️ Your don’t feel fully energised by your current career
☁️ The career path ahead of your although looks amazing on paper isn’t doing it for you
☁️ Your feel like the same career blocks are reoccurring

Your head is not going to be able to problem solve & answer everything.

Interestingly, in many religions & systems the head isn’t supposed to be a decision maker.

So one tip to use instantly so that you to access your heart's decision making capabilities:
🐺 In the moment you making a decision - become aware instantly of your response (that’s your heart) then around 3 seconds later your brain kicks in so whatever the second voice says is your brain.

For some connecting back into the heart is easier than others…but with time & openess you absolutely will be able to.

When you do you’ll see your career shift, a new level of purpose exists & an expansive feeling that’s euphoric.

Let me know how reconnecting to your hearts decision making feels 🙏

P.S. I'm running a free training on 28th that's called "Taming Tough Conversations". When you join you'll learn how to manage tough conversations to get the best outcome without being emotionally drained. If you want in, message me "TAME".

Are you a people-centric leader who wants to build impactful teams?

Have you prioritise building a sense of healthy belonging in your teams?

If not, your high performers may experience moments like:

☁️ Not adding their POV because they thought it wouldn’t be valued by others
☁️ Not being weren’t invited a lunch or social drinks that most of the team were going to
☁️ Feeling like their relationships with others aren't as strong as they would like them to be

These scenarios create a feeling of not belonging.

This lack of belonging changes how engaged your high performers are with their work & their desire to remain with the company.

As a people-centric leader you care about creating environments in which your high performers feel a healthy sense of belonging.

You know if your high performers feel connected to the team, it increases engagement which leads to higher performance and retention.

As a leader, retaining high performers is one of your undoubted priorities. It is still very much one of mine.

So what is the first step that you can take to ensure that healthy belonging is created in your teams?

🐺 Bringing awareness into what’s currently happening in your team & take it from there.

You have the emotional intelligence to build environments in which your high performers:
🐺 Feel respected, included & heard
🐺 Want to grow at the rate that the company is
🐺 Are continuously engaged & motivated at work

You are capable of achieving teams that continuously outperform by harnessing your abilities to create a healthy sense of belonging.

I have some spots open for 1:1 coaching - DM me career if you’re ready to accelerate your career progression and achieve more wealth, impact and freedom at work.

What would you give to find tough conversations easy breezy?

Imagine the opportunities that would open up for you…
☁️ Negotiating for the pay and benefits you deserve without worrying about how you were being perceived by your leaders.

☁️ Answering Q+A’s effectively and handling any tough questions from your stakeholders without feeling reactive.

☁️ Discussing “taboo topics” such as mental health or racial discrimination so that your team and organisation could improve the way it supports certain situations.

☁️ Discussing performance or behavior issues with a direct report without worrying about damaging the relationship or causing offence.

Currently you're a people-centric leader who’s faced with a variety of difficult conversations on a regular basis and having the skills to handle them effectively is crucial for your success.

You value leading by example so having good communication and negotiation skills is a skillset you want to sharpen.

You want to handle feedback in a way that is constructive, effective and non-threatening so that everyone around you can grow.

Ready to handle challenging conversations so that you get the outcome you want without feeling stressed?

This training will allow you to:
🐺 Identifying the root causes of your fear or discomfort in tough conversations, and developing strategies to manage them.

🐺 Learning how to actively listen and understand the other person's perspective, in order to build trust and rapport.

🐺 Developing effective communication skills, such as active listening, assertiveness, and empathy, that can help you express yourself clearly and persuasively.

🐺 Understanding different conflict resolution strategies and learning how to apply them in different situations.

DM me "TAME" to join the training on 28th February that will teach you how to handle these conversations with ease.

Are your actions aligned with self-love & respect?

I was constantly saying yes to everyone else and my needs came last.

I often found myself…
🧜‍♀️Taking on another work project, even when I was at capacity
🧜‍♀️Jumping in to help teammates with a work challenge they were facing even if I was swamped
🧜‍♀️ Offering to do another household chore when I didn’t have the time to

I was a people pleaser.

I was scared that saying no, especially at work, would lead to others disliking me, or would question my capacity to handle work volumes and ultimately lead them from walking away from me

and disconnecting with me.

Saying no felt like I was being selfish or rude prioritising my needs over others and it riddled me with guilt.

By being scared that others would walk away from me, I abandoned my needs and boundaries. I never asked for what I needed.

Over time I learnt that saying no in small ways first…
For example, saying no to social events that I wasn’t interested in attending.

I learnt no was a powerful tool to protect my mental health, build self-respect, and create a positive relationship with myself.

Everytime I said no, I realised that I was turning towards myself and deepening my relationship with myself and it was so empowering.

I wished I had done it sooner!

Saying no is a boundary that honours your needs, desires, and values.

If you find it difficult to say no, try practicing in small ways first.

Say no to a social event that you don't really want to attend or to an extra task that isn't necessary.

Gradually work your way up to bigger decisions, always keeping in mind what's best for you.

It's time to prioritize yourself and start saying no when you need to.

Say yes to a more loving relationship with yourself!
