Always strive to be the best you can be. Work hard, increase your income, manage your money well and invest, but enjoy life too.
I don't want to roll around in cash and have no one to share life with. This defeats the whole purpose of financial freedom.
Spend time with your family and friends. Those moments matter and are more valuable than anything ✨
Life’s all about balance, so don't sacrifice your whole life away.

People like to inflict their own insecurities and fears on you but that doesn’t mean you have to internalise it.
Everyone is striving for different things and others are happy to settle with whatever life gives to them.
Define what a good life means to you and don’t worry about what other people may think....

It's hard to say no to temptations, whether it's preventing yourself from unhealthy eating when you're trying to lose weight, saying no to another night out because you're saving for a house or not watching Netflix because you need to study.
Just remember, saying no to instant gratification will make your future self better off. That's not to say you shouldn't live and never experience anything, but sometimes you may be in a position where you really have to be disciplined and sacrifice something in the present for a much better outcome in the future.
Don't lose site of your long-term goals, your future self will thank you for it🙌🏾

Always invest in yourself! The more you learn, the more you earn 💰
I remember being so hesitant to pay for courses at uni, and I know if I did it back then my earning potential would be muchhhh higher (I know I know, it’s not too late).
There’s so much valuable content on YouTube and Google too, which you can consume for free. Some people drop gems on a daily basis, even on social media.
With the resources and information available to us today, anyone can be wealthy 💸

I have to remind myself of this quite often. Self-forgiveness and compassion is something I'm working on, but I really struggle to let things go sometimes. You know the saying, “dont let too much of yesterday, take too much of today”? I tend to do this a lot 🤦🏾♀️
This is what happens when we spend time beating ourselves up for not getting things done or the time we’ve lost due to bad decision making😅
So yes, it's really annoying when you feel like you've wasted a lot of time when you shouldn't have, but let's try our best to move forward and make the most of the time we have right now🙌🏾

This post was inspired by Tony Robbins video, “How to Break Your Negative Thinking”⚡️. I’ve combined the key points and put them into 4 steps💪🏾
Tony spoke about the importance of changing your emotional state if you want to change your approach to a situation. This affects how you behave, which then affects whether you experience positive or negative outcomes. That’s why they say don’t make decisions when you’re angry or upset because it’s probably not going to be a good one!
It’s hard to always see the glass as half full, rather than half empty. But by creating an action plan, we can start to shift our focus from our problems to possible solutions.

Your habits shape your character and how you live. Having good habits in place ultimately gives you more freedom and time 🕒.
