Friday 10th September 2021 was the national su***de prevention day, we at Dynamic College London will like to use this opportunity to create an awareness, every life lost to su***de is a tragedy.

Su***de awareness is a proactive effort to raise awareness around suicidal behaviours. It is focused on reducing social stigmas and ambiguity, by bringing attention to su***de statistically and sociologically, and encouraging positive dialogue and engagement as a means to prevent su***de. Su***de awareness is linked to su***de prevention as both address su***de education and the dissemination of information to ultimately decrease the rate of su***de. Awareness is a first stage that can ease the need for prevention. Awareness signifies a fundamental consciousness of the threat, while prevention focuses on stopping the act. Su***de awareness is not a medical engagement, but a combination of medical, social, emotional and financial counselling

University Clearing

Clearing gives you the chance to change your course or university before the proposed deadline. If you’re unsatisfied with your results, Clearing is your second chance. With the help of this service, you can call up prospective universities and apply for a course that suits your preferences for entry in 2021.

You will be eligible if:
-Your exams didn’t go as well as expected and you haven’t been accepted by your current university choices.
-You didn’t meet the conditions of the offers you received.
-You didn’t receive any offers for a course from a university.
-You want a place at a university but haven’t yet applied.
-You rejected an offer because you changed your mind about your chosen course or location.

For learners to be funded, they must meet the below eligibility criteria:

-Legally allowed to undertake paid employment in a member state of the European Union (EU).
-Are a citizen of a country within the European Economic Area (EEA) or other countries determined within the EEA, including those with bilateral agreements such as Switzerland, or have settled status or have the Right of Abode in the UK.
-Have been ordinarily resident in the EEA or other countries determined within the EEA, including those with bilateral agreements such as Switzerland, for at least the previous three years on the first day of learning.
-In other words there is a three year residency requirement and learners must have either a Passport or Biometric card. Drivers licences are not acceptable as proof of eligibility.
-In addition funding is for learners aged 19 plus.

Alternatively self funding options are available if the above criteria can not be met.
