4 members of Team BGS Music performed today as part of Bexley Music’s little big band today at the Erith exchange led by Luke Montgomery, who is also one of peripatetic teachers. Let us know if you've also been up to any musical pursuits this weekend!

Twas the night before Year 13's final day at BGS before they go into the sunset to revise and complete their IB exams and the rest of their lives! We're taking a moment to celebrate you, our wonderful, funny, brilliant Y13s. Thank you on behalf of the music department for all your contributions over the years and we wish you all the luck in the future.

PIONEERS OF SOUND - one week on and still absolutely BUZZING about our Spring Concert last week! Well done to all of our wonderful performers for your hard work and dedication bringing a varied programme to life, and a particularly special mention for our Year 13s. What an honour it has been to work with you over the years, we're so proud of you all and the musicians you've become

A fab day 2 with Mike from - Y7, 10 and 12 immersed into the world of Balinese Gamelan. Wonderful to hear about the customs of Gamelan music - I think some of our students will be looking to visit Bali in the near future!

We're having an excellent day with with our Y7 Gamelan workshops. Day 2 tomorrow!

BGS chamber choir will be once again performing at the ‘spring sing’ event on the 21st march. Come along and support if you can!
