How to Write Poetry: Form and Feeling 21/09/2022

Are you an experienced writer, aspiring amateur poet or a complete beginner to poetry?

Designed for all levels, this 10 week course will teach you how to read and write poetry, and cultivate literary skills that can be transferred to other fields of work and to future writing projects.

Through a series of live online workshops you'll develop essential tools to help you edit, revise and polish your own work, as well as critical skills to help you articulate your understanding and appreciation of poetic form.

Each week, in a supportive group of like-minded writers you'll craft verses, improving upon your writing techniques whilst also developing your ability to analyse, comment and review your own and others work.

This Summer interrogate your artistic imagination and improve your writing technique on this unique 5-week 'poetry inspired by art' course held at Goldsmiths Centre for Contemporary Art - voted best gallery in Time Out London’s 2021 Best of the City Awards!

Suitable for both new and experienced writers, this course will provide you with practical guidance on how to work with and immerse yourself in art and use it as a springboard for creating your own original verse.
