You're not failing.

You're overwhelmed, just like the rest of the planet.

You're not doing it wrong.

You're doing the best you can with what you have, away from your mom, your friends, without your grandma's hug.

Maybe your career is on hold indefinitely, maybe your routine work at home has tripled.

You don't have to be perfect.

Speak up.

Play.

Breathe.

Write.

Go with the flow of this new life.

Reconnect with your body.

Rejoice in the look of your children, in the warmth of their little bodies against yours, in their smell. They will only be small for a brief moment. The foundations of your memories of this turbulent time will be forged by you.

You're all your kids need.

They chose you.

You're not failing.

Nowadays , most experts believe that parents and other carers should let children with special needs try things alongside other children as much as possible and that this benefits all the children involved . It’s vital to plan a play activity carefully. Of course, if any child with special needs becomes frustrated or distressed during a play activity , help them , or leave the activity for another day. Different children have different needs , but there are some things to beat in mind when setting up play opportunities for children with specific disabilities:
1. Children with Down’s Syndrome are often very sociable and enjoy playing with other children, but we may need to bear hearing and sight impairments in mind. Their development may be slower , so let them play with the toys they choose, at their own pace.
2. For children with Learning Disabilities , patience , reassurance and consistency are vital for them. Ofer them varies , interesting play opportunities.
3.Children with hearing impairment may find being in a busy, noisy toddler’s group stressful. We have to make sure they don’t feel isolated. They may particularly enjoy toys with lights, hums or vibrations, interesting textures or different scents.
4.Children with sight impairment : we can offer them toys they can get to know through touch and sound. Ones with different shapes, textures and noises are ideal, as are bold , bright colours and strong patterns.
5.Children with limited mobility may need help to get where they want to play. Offer them toys that are solidly made, with buttons and levers that are easy to use . Toys such as activity centres should have non slip bases.
6. Children with autistic spectrum : too much noise and activity can be hard to cope with, as cand sudden changes of routine. Toys and activities that give them the chance to discover things for themselves and a calm, orderly play space are important.

Arts and crafts day! 🌈🎨Milan have done his first painting today. 🏞He really enjoyed it!👍😅🤪 I’ve bought this My First Crayola paintings long time ago and I couldn’t wait any long to try them with him. They are amazing and so easy to wash off. Doesn’t matter the mess when your child is happy😂🙈🤪🤕🤫
🌈When children use their fingers to manipulate art materials they are developing their fine motor skills.

🌈Art allows children to develop their creativity which is very important throughout their lives.
🌈Doing something creative with your child you allow for self-expression and this lets children express and cope with their feelings.
🌈Fosters mental growth in children by providing opportunities to try out new ideas , new ways of thinking.
🌈Arts&Crafts activities gives your children a sense of achievement and allow them to take pride in their work , which builds confidence.
🌈You get to spend quality time bonding with them at the same time🥰.

Hi mums! After the first few weeks from birth you can start massaging your babies. However , what I always suggest to the mothers is to follow their babies mood. When you are ready to give them a massage your baby should be calm , alert and content. Even tiny babies usually enjoy being gently massaged , but some don’t like their tummies being stroked. Follow the steps below , but if your baby seems unhappy in any way when you do the massage , just leave it for another day . ⚜️Make sure the room is warm. Put the baby on a dry towel on the changing mat , or on the floor. You have to comfortable and relaxed when you start massaging your baby ⚜️Put a few drops of baby oil on one hand. (Don’t use nut oil so anything perfumed). I use normally Baby oil from Mustela because I love the smell, but you can use any other oils that you prefer. ⚜️Rub your hands so you spread the oil on both palms and get your hands warm. (Mine are always cold🥶😳) ⚜️Stroke down the baby’s legs and arms. Turn the baby over and massage the back with smooth strokes. ⚜️Talking softly to your baby and listening to some white noise , help babies relax. ⚜️Wrap them in the towel to warm up before you dress them.
If any of you have any further questions about baby massage do not hesitate to dm me. And tag your friends if you think that might be interested in my post. 💙

Can’t believe how time flies by. 😢🙄🙈In this photo Milan is 3 months old and on the 27 of May he will celebrate his first birthday. 🥳😍❤️👶🏻 If I could save time in a bottle , I would love to save every day till eternity passes away , just to spend them with him in my arms. I am so fulfilled to have a boy that is full of compassion (already) and that spreads love❤️,joy 🤣😂 and kisses 💋 with everyone. Love him more then I ever imagined I would be able to love a human being. Mummy life is the most beautiful and blessed life.

For a newborn baby , the world is an incredible , exciting place. Everything is new , just waiting to be discovered. Babies start learning from the moment they are born, and children learn more in their first 2 years than at any other time in their lives. They learn from what they see and hear around them. Most importantly they learn through play. With this in mind , anyone caring for a baby or toddler has a central role in helping them find out about their new world and giving them the chance to play and learn. The first 3 months of a baby’s life can be a hectic , emotional time for everyone involved, so don’t try to do too much, too soon. Just try to relax and enjoy and treasure all the time that you have now with your baby. Although babies are born ready to learn all about the world around them , experts have found that newborns do not enjoy too much noise or activity in these first weeks. Their priorities are to be warm , comfortable , fed and loved. The first few days after a baby is born are an unforgettable time. You might feel snowed under with visitors🙈 , flowers 🤧 , nappies 🥴🤢 ... and advice🙄🤕🤫. If you can , just use these early days to get to know your new baby. Give them time to study your face , hear your voice and enjoy being near you. Experts have discovered that tiny babies can’t see very far. This limited vision may well protect babies from being too stimulated by everything around them. Take the opportunity to let them be close to you whenever you can. Nothing awful will happen if you leave the dirty dishes for another half an hour , so allow yourself time to help a newborn relax , and get used to the world they have so recently arrived in. Of course , babies have to spend time in their or carrycots , but they need the reassuring comfort of closeness, too. A child is the biggest blessing from tabove👶🏻👼🤰🤱🏽

Under the age of two , a lack of social interaction isn't to much of a concern, but after this age it is important to keep kids connected with each other , even virtually , since peer relationships are a big factor in how resilient kids become. Facilitating a game over video chat with a friend or FaceTime with relatives can help kids. Babies can have a story read by their grandparents over FaceTime. I think that is more important how we , like parents, are responding to this pandemic more than how they are reacting to the increase or decrease in activity level. Keeping a routine for your families as much as possible and trying not to put to much stress on yourself , for your kids not to feel the difference pre-coronavirus . I think that our kids will remember more the quality time that us were spending with them , than their music classes, swim lessons, play dates. We just have to be supportive, patient , positive and loving and will outweigh everything else.
