Весной в стране упростили правила трудоустройства для иностранных студентов. Это нововведение распространяется даже на тех, кто только готовится поступать в немецкие вузы.

С 1 марта 2024 года вступил в силу Закон об иммиграции квалифицированных специалистов. Теперь иностранным студентам разрешено работать 20 часов в неделю или 140 полных рабочих дней в год (вариант - 280 сокращенных), вместо предыдущих 120 и 240 дней соответственно.

Эти изменения также затрагивают студентов программ подготовки при немецких вузах. Теперь им разрешено иметь несколько подработок без необходимости получения согласия от миграционной службы.

По мнению законодателей, такие меры могут решить проблему нехватки квалифицированных работников в Германии, особенно в отраслях IT и медицинского обслуживания.

1. Keep track of time
Applications for courses starting in 2023 open in May 2022.

2. Write a motivation letter (personal statement)

The Oxbridge preparation programme is for teens aged 15-17 who have yet to start their A-levels.

It is an intensive one-week online course arranged by Maxima Education Consultants consisting of lessons in the following areas:

✅Assessment of thinking skills

✅Personal statement

✅Interviews for the humanities and science subjects

✅Advice regarding UCAS - a British organisation whose main task is to manage the application process for British universities.

There are only about 10 people in each group, which will allow students to ask questions of interest to consultants and a teacher who will supervise the writing of personal statements.
