We are The New Curators Project - an annual programme run by UCL Special Collections with Newham Heritage Month. Each year we offer 10 funded places for 18-24 year olds from Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Newham and Waltham Forest on a programme that provides a window into careers in the cultural heritage sector. We provide training, real life experiences and the opportunity to meet professionals who work in museums, art galleries, arts charities, libraries and archives. Participants leave with the skills and experience to take their first steps into a career in the sector, and we provide support for them making job applications and attending interviews. We are currently recruiting!
