The word of the week is "Plant" and book of the week is " The Tiny Seed". 🌻
This week we learned what plants need in order to grow. We listened to the journey of seeds, explored flowers and used our fine motor skills to create our own colorful art activities.🌞💧🌱🌼

The word of the week is "Tree" and the book of the week is " The Very Hungry Caterpillar". 🐛
This week we explored nature and transformation with our children! First, we listened to our story and then we created our own art projects inspired by the journey of the very hungry caterpillar becoming a butterfly.🦋
While creating caterpillars, leaves and colorful butterflies the children used their imagination and also developed their fine motor skills. 🌿

Today we celebrated St George's Day with a collaborative art activity 🐉🌹
The children worked together to create a St George and the Dragon themed piece, fine motor skills and teamwork through hands-on learning. ✨️

Our word of the week is " Egg".
Children took part in enjoyable activities that supported their visual perception and attention skills through matching games, their language development through storytelling activities and their fine motor skills and creativity through art activities.💛🐣
We learn through play and grow by discovering. 🐣✨️

Today we celebrated Red Nose Day with the children❤️
We had fun while also talking about the importance of sharing, kindness and helping others. With our red noses, we left big smiles all around 😊🔴

🌸Excitement for Mother's Day at Millbrook Preschool🌸
For Mother's Day our children designed cards for their mothers, prepared flowers, draw pictures and made special crowns just for them.
These heartfelt creations provided a wonderful opportunity for our children to express their love and strong bond with their mothers.

Our word of the week is "Device".
This week, we explored the devices we use in our daily lives with our children. While talking about what phones, tablets and other technological tools are used for we also learned about the importance of using them safely.
Through art activities, story time and games the children learned new vocabulary and explored ways to use technology correctly and safely📱💻✨️

📚✨️ World Book Day at Millbrook Preschool 📚✨️
Today our preschoolers celebrated World Book Day by dressing up as their favourite storybook characters. The children enjoyed exploring different learning areas inspired by well-loved looks, bringing stories to life through play, imagination and creativity. It was a wonderful day of storytelling, role play and discovering the joy that books can bring. 🌟

Children Celebrating the 2026 Chinese New Year took part in a fun sensory activity using noodles and crunch. Through cutting, sorting and transferring tasks they developed their fine motor skills. 🇨🇳🍜🥢👧🏻🧒🏻
