We extend our heartfelt condolences to Imam al-Mahdi (ajtf), to our esteemed marājiʿ, and to believers across the world on the sad passing of Grand Ayatollah Shaykh Ish’aq Fayyadh.
For decades, he dedicated his blessed life to serving Islam, preserving the teachings of the Ahlulbayt (a), nurturing generations of scholars, and guiding the faithful with wisdom, humility, and piety. His loss is a profound one for the Hawza, the Muslim Ummah, and all those who benefited from his knowledge and guidance.
The funeral ceremonies will commence in Baghdad tomorrow before continuing to the holy city of Najaf, where he will be laid to rest on Saturday Insha’Allah.
We humbly request all believers to recite Surah al-Fātiḥah and remember him in their prayers.
