Report on the 5th International Rast Music Congress (IRMC 2025)The 5th International Rast Music Congress (IRMC) and the 5th International Rast Music Awards were successfully held on November 29–30, 2025, in Pristina, Kosovo, in a hybrid format (face-to-face and Zoom online), under the theme Music and Humanity, with English as the official language of the congress. Chaired by IRMC 2025 Congress Chair Assoc. Professor Gvantsa Ghvinjlia, the congress brought together 26 participants from 14 different countries, including Kosovo (6), Ukraine (3), Poland (3), Azerbaijan (2), Uzbekistan (2), Türkiye (2), Italy, Ghana, Latvia, Germany, Israel, Albania, Iran, and Georgia (1 participant each), fostering a rich international and interdisciplinary academic environment. Accepted papers were encouraged for publication in music-based academic journals, contributing to the scholarly impact and academic output of the congress. Recordings and presentations from this productive and inspiring event are available on the official YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/, and viewers are kindly invited to subscribe, watch, and share the content. It was also officially announced that the 6th International Rast Music Congress will be held on October 31 – November 1, 2026, and detailed planning and further announcements will be shared with participants in due course.
