Get creative with me every weekend! Online classes for children aged 6-12

This took me only a couple of hours but it was so much fun! I'm usually a VERY bright person but autumn has me with all the browns and oranges. I'm feeling EARTHY 🌲.

I used leaves and a stick I found outside, acrylic paint plus some cardboard. Now I just need to find somewhere to hang it!

Check out these cute animal drawings I made. Now that it's Autumn lots of animals are starting to get ready to hibernate, storing food for the winter. It's a time of big change!

I love experimenting with coloured paper and think the frames are very quaint!

I've been having so much fun making these Autumn Animals in their quaint frames.

My Top tips for drawing the animals:
👍️ Do a light outline first
👍🏾 Try doing mini scribbles to show the fur
👍🏼 Use a LIMITED colour pallet - I used white, grey and accent colours to match the frame.

Practicing some new drawings for my next tutorial, using wild 🍄 as inspiration.

Oil pastel and ink is a material combination that never gets old. You can also use watercolour paints and crayons with the little ones!

Look at these amazing screen prints the younger children made in my class!

I'm so impressed by all the beautiful colours and patterns they made. This was quite a guided class but they still managed to add their own twist to each one and create a unique style.

Which do you prefer - the sculpture or the collage?

Try and try again!

Printmaking is a great example of how we can improve with each try, usually, the second print is so much clearer than the first.

I love it when kids do their own thing.

One of my students decided to do something totally different for his Andy Warhol-style print and made this fantastic version. He used blue flowers and an orange background (contrasting colors at their best!)

Is anyone else thinking this is looking super 80s?

Do you know a kid who cuts and glues anything they come near to! A dreamer of the future? A brain with wild ideas and big ambitions?
