Honestly 99% of my clients, and people I meet (including myself) are working on how they can get more out of themselves (with the seemingly “right” intentions). What my partner rightly pointed out to me… what about working on doing things that you enjoy… for you! Not for your business or someone else…

Yesterday I attended the neuroscience symposium!!

Needless to say I am NOT a neuroscientist 😂

So by the end of the day my brain was in a mush…

But I so enjoyed it!!

I felt like a student again and

I met some wonderful people who are doing incredible research to help us live better lives. 🙏

I use some neuroscience in my coaching,

as I find it an incredible tool to normalise and accept those behaviors,

that we would otherwise categorise as “lazy, broken or failure”.

I have to admit I felt way out of my comfort zone but that’s where the creativity and new possibilities are!

Go, follow your heart, and enjoy the shaky ride 😉

We live in a society that values perfection at all costs.

At the cost of our health, of our planet, of our relationship, of our authenticity and fulfillment. 😢

But let’s look around…
Nothing in the natural world is perfect!

Why?

Because it is in constant organic evolution!

And so are we :)

So instead of fighting our own nature,

let’s learn to do our best, in our unique way and let that be perfect enough!

Give a ❤️ if you are also fed up of trying to live by standards not made for human well-being!

It’s like life coaching but for the body. 😊

We are conditioned to consider ourselves and our life as a performance…

In which we are so focused on the result , that we forgot to enjoy the show.

But If this feels off for you to live this way and unfulfilling, that is completely normal!! ❤️‍🩹

This approach works for machines,

not for Human Nature.

But there is a way to recondition our brains and lives

-> so we, too, can live a life that feels real, easier and fulfilling!! 🙏

And bonus benefit: it will help our planet! 🌳

In this time of inhumanity and pain it can feel that this is just all we are, as humans: savage, immorale and without limits.

Sadly we can see it in action way too often.

I find it devastating and truly heartbreaking.

I really urge those few humans, following power and who lost a lot of their humanity to it, to stop!!!

To remember our true nature,

our eternal connection with each other, with Nature,

And start partnering with each other instead of dominating.

For our own sanity, I encourage each of us to live with our eyes wide open on all parts of humanity

and always remember and see the beautiful humans who are around us.

Now and always.

Let’s keep talking to strangers,

supporting each other,

believing in each other’s true human Nature ❤️

Everyday I go for a walk in Nature.

Ideally in the morning. With or without my daughter’s teddy 😂 (like on the picture)

I never used to do that as I grew up in Paris.

But I find, as our lives get crazy busy with 1000 things to do per day,
that Nature is the one place where I can slow down, unwind and feel more connected to myself and the world around me than anywhere else. 🌳❤️

I still have resistance to go for a walk, as my mind reminds me how « non conventional it is » and « how I should be doing real work… »

That’s when I stop and remember my commitment to prioritize my health, and what keeps me balanced, so that I am able not only to do a better work but to actually enjoy it ❤️

Isn’t it what life supposed to be for? Contribute yes and enjoy it.

Have a beautiful day everyone 🌳 and don’t forget to take yourself out, if possible 😊

We often feel like we are doing things wrong.

But it’s not that.

It is simply that we haven’t been given the manual for:

-> what humans need to thrive naturally; (which are the same than for any living being)

-> and how our society operates ? (= the unwritten “rules/standards that we are unconsciously trying to follow”

-> and! we don’t allow ourselves to catch our breath to see how where we are, what we need, how we feel.

So it’s not wonder, life feels bloody hard and exhausting a lot of the time.

But don’t forget:

You are not alone doing this,
You are not doing it wrong!

We simply all need each other’s guidance, different perspectives and support ❤️

I personally think that when you are nailed with a pure, selfless, unexpected act of kindness,

there is not much that can fuel you, make you feel alive and grateful as kindness does. ❤️

Primarily : slowing down!!

Plus, from my own experience :

Changing your environment,
Going for a walk in nature ideally,
Doing something involving your senses,
Laughing,
Loving, caring for someone genuinely

Sadly caring for Ourselves or for Nature feels like something on top in our daily busy lives…

As we live in a society that makes it easier and ok to not care than to care.

But it doesn’t have to stay that way!

You and Nature matter and without either there is no life, love or laughter.

So,

Care for you,
Care for others,
Care for Nature,

Love, Alix.
