Beyond the Noise

✨

I lost only because
You stood on the other side of my heart.

Otherwise, in this vast world,
There was no one powerful enough
to destroy me.

Because people are not truly broken by enemies—
They are broken
by the ones they loved the most.

🌿 The Mirror Before the Search

Before I drew up my list of what I needed,
Allah quietly handed me a mirror. 🪞

Can you lower your voice when your heart is loud?
Can you say "I was wrong" before pride speaks first?
Can you guard what is sacred between two souls
without letting the world become a witness?

Do you walk into a room and settle it—
or stir it without knowing?
And the deepest question of all…
Is your deen something you wear,
or something you are
when no one is watching? 🌙

For so long I kept score of others.
"Why don't they understand me?"
"Why does love always fall short?"
But slowly, gently—
the way only Allah can teach—
I began to see:
Perhaps the lesson was never about them.
Perhaps I was the student all along. 🌱

Because a good marriage is not a discovery.
It is a construction.
Built with respect when emotions run hot.
With honesty when ego pushes back.
With maturity that chooses silence over war,
and privacy that keeps love protected.
With sabr that doesn't announce itself.
With deen that lives in the hands, the tone,
the way you treat someone on an ordinary Tuesday.

None of us arrives complete.
Not you. Not me.
But those who sit with their flaws honestly—
who choose to learn, to soften, to grow—
Allah is already working on them
in ways they cannot yet see. 🤍

So I put the checklist down.
And I picked up something harder,
something more beautiful:
The commitment to become
what I was hoping to find. ✨

✨

Maybe I was too flawed
to stay beside you.

Too foolish
to speak the right words.

Too imperfect, too restless
to become someone you could hold onto.

And in the end,
Perhaps I was never human enough
for a life with you.

Some people are not remembered for their love—
only for the ways they failed.

A woman can awaken
the softest parts of a man—
his emotions,
his tenderness,
the side of him that learns to care deeply.

And sometimes,
when she leaves,

He is left wandering through the ruins of that love,
holding onto memories
like a lost soul searching for home.

Because love changes people—
especially the kind that teaches someone
How to feel again.
