🌟Have you changed your mind about the secondary school you applied for?

🌟Are you still deciding which secondary school is right for you?

Starting secondary school is a BIG step — and it’s completely normal to have questions. Students will attend real lessons, meet teachers and ask any questions they may have about starting school, explore the school and its facilities, and experience a full “day in the life” of a Year 7 student. This is a relaxed, no‑pressure opportunity for students starting Year 7 in September 2026 to see whether Hewens College feels right for them.

Supporting Rainbow Ward at Hillingdon Hospital - Help Us Bring Joy to Young Patients

Rainbow Ward at Hillingdon Hospital cares for children undergoing oncology treatment, day surgery, medical procedures, allergy challenges and regular blood infusions, and many of these young patients spend long, difficult hours on the ward without any entertainment to bring comfort or distraction. To help brighten their days, we’re are hoping to help raise £1,000 to £1,200 for a mobile gaming and entertainment trolley, and with your help and support—alongside fundraising from our wonderful schools and colleges—we hope to reach this goal.

How You Can Make a Difference - Donate to the GoFundMe

Whether it’s 50p, £2, £10 or £20, every single donation brings us closer to placing this trolley into the hands of the children who need it most. Visit our website for more information and to access the GoFundMe page. We kindly ask you to donate, only if you can, share it with others, and support in any way possible to help bring joy, comfort and a much‑needed spark of happiness to the children of Rainbow Ward. Small acts of kindness become huge moments of happiness — and together, we can make this happen! https://www.therosedalehewensacademytrust.co.uk/supporting-rainbow-ward-help-us-bring-joy-to-young-patients

Across The Rosedale Hewens Academy Trust, we don’t simply take part in Children’s Mental Health Week — we live its principles every day. Wellbeing is woven into our culture, shaping how we teach, support, and care for every child.

We create calm, nurturing environments where pupils feel seen, valued, and emotionally safe. Because when children feel connected and cared for, they are ready to learn, grow, and truly shine.

We work closely with our wonderful colleagues in the Mental Health Support Team, whose expertise and compassion strengthen our holistic approach. Together, we create environments where children feel seen, heard, valued, and emotionally safe — not just this week, but all year round. Because when children feel connected and cared for, they are ready to learn, grow, and truly shine.

Visit our websites for more information on how we support children's mental health and wellbeing within our schools and colleges.
