"Many have passed away, and those who are still here are called
"the elderly.""
We were born in the 40s-50s-60s.
We grew up in the 50's-60's-70's
We studied in the 60s-70s-80s.
We were together in the 70s-80s-90s.
We got married or not and discovered the world in the 70s-80s-90s.
Adventuring into the 80s - 90s
We're settling in to the 2000s.
We became wiser in 2010s.
And we’re going strong into 2020 and beyond.
Turns out we went through EIGHT different decades...
TWO different centuries...
TWO different millennials...
We've gone from phone with operator for long distance calls, pay booths, video calls worldwide.
We’ve gone from slides to YouTube, vinyls to online music, handwritten letters to emails and Whats App.
Live games on the radio, black and white TV, color TV, then HD 3D TV.
We went to the video store and now watching Netflix.
We've known the first computers, punch cards, disks and now we have gigabytes and megabytes on our smartphones.
We wore shorts all through our childhood, then trousers, ep pants or mini-skirts, Oxfords, Clarks, Palestinian scarves, jumpsuits, and blue jeans.
We avoided childhood paralysis, meningitis, poliomyelitis, tuberculosis, swine flu and now COVID-19.
We've done roller skating, roller skating, tricycle, bicycle, moped, gasoline or diesel and now we drive hybrids or electric.
We played with the little ones
horses and checkers, ostrich and marbles, 1000 threshold and monopoly, now there's candy crush on our smartphones
And we read... much
And our schoolmates religion was not a subject...
We used to drink tap water and lemonade in glass bottles, and the vegetables on our plate were always fresh, today we get meals delivered
Yes, we have been through a lot but what a beautiful life we have had!
They might describe us as “ex-annuals”; people who were born in this 50s world, who had an analog childhood and digital adulthood.
We should add the Biological Revolution that we have witnessed. In 1960, biology was very descriptive. We have witnessed the event of Molecular Biology: the molecules of Life have been discovered: DNA, RNA etc. When you see everything that has come from it: gene therapy, gene fingerprints, and others the progress is considerable.
We kind of have "seen it all"!
Our generation has literally lived and witnessed more than any other in every dimension of life.
This is our generation that has literally adapted to "CHANGE".
A big congratulations to all the members of a very special generation, which will be UNIQUE.. "
Have a great weekend

THE 6 POWERS OF A WOMAN
Your power as a woman goes beyond your body. It's okay to have great curves! The ability to get a man chase you hard is power on its own. Having a hour glass (figure 😎 shape is an automatic magnet for lustful men and some can eat the very sand at your feet just to get in between your thigh. Getting a man pant after you is power but your power goes beyond sensuality, s*x and seduction, they don't last! We are talking about lasting power here!
You carry so much power that you are not aware of. This power can make you a success. It can make your man an outstanding success. Make you a voice to reckon with and cause great changes in the society.
1. YOU HAVE THE POWER OF WORDS
Words are powerful! They can make or break someone. No! They can shatter someone to a million pieces without repair! Women are known with verbal power! Either to make, mend, destroy or kill! It is in every woman! By words alone, Delilah brought Samson to his death! By words, Jezebel made her husband commit murder! By words, Esther the queen saved a whole nation! By words, Abigail saved her life from death and became the wife of a king! By words, Adichie Chimamanda Ngozie is promoting feminism in Africa and beyond! By words, Linda Ikeji amassed billions of Naira into her account! Whether written or verbal, your words carry power! With your words you can end up a global success, challenge your man to success and change the society for good! Maximize your tongue by using words to your advantage!
2. YOU HAVE BODY POWER!
Men are attracted to beautiful women. Use your feminine body to your advantage! Not by sleeping around for money/job/promotion, etc you lose power and control that way. The moment you give a man s*x he is not entitled to through marriage, he loses respect for you and you lose power! Package for excellence!
Be irresistible, charming, appealing, comely and worth chasing then divert his attention from your body(clothed body please. I'm not asking you to go about naked/show him your b***s and curves. You get what I mean) to your mind, intellect, talents, potentials and vision. That is how to hold a man spell bound! That is how to make him stay glued. That is how to command respect and honour. That s what make some men chase certain women hard till they marry them and after marriage, support with all you've got till he becomes a phenomenal success. You have the brain, wisdom, power, intellect, money and God to help your man succeed, that power lies within you. Maximize it!
3. YOU HAVE BRAIN POWER!
Women are blessed with the power of imagination. What you can see, you can achieve! Women who go out to change the world always do so especially when you have divine backing! You can be the next Nigerian president, you can build orphanages, you can create women empowerment programmes, you can rescue juvenile delinquents, you can cause great changes in the society. You can feed the poor, you can end up a great philanthropist.
4. YOU HAVE THE POWER OF INFLUENCE
You can influence your man, children, neighbour, friends and family for good. The power is within you. Once your mind is made up to achieve a result, cause a great change or turn your man to an international stardom, you can! You can influence a whole community, nation or country! You can influence your customers/clients and attract more money into your account. The power of influence lies within you. Esther the queen influenced a whole nation to fast and pray till they obtained their freedom. You are a great influencer!
5. YOU HAVE MONEY POWER!
Because women are naturally endowed with relationship skills, it's easier to win more customers/clients and swell your bank account beyond your imagination. You can make as much money as you want.
6. YOU HAVE GOD POWER
Women connect with God at a deeper level than men. Not all women though, but a good percentage of women draw strength deeply and powerfully from God than their male counterparts who like to go macho with everything to the point of self destruction! Maximize your God power! With deep, intimate relationship with Him, you will draw power to achieve the impossible and up a phenomenal success. A role model millions look up to round the world.
Every woman carry power. Maximize yours, unleash it and end up a celebrity!
Thanks for reading. God bless you. Cheers!

🚨🇳🇬 Meet Courtney D**e; The Player Who Rejected $7,000 Bonus After Representing Nigeria
Courtney Ozioma D**e made headlines in 2014 when she rejected a $7,000 bonus after representing Nigeria at the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
The Oklahoma-born forward, who played college soccer at Oklahoma State University, cited NCAA regulations as the reason behind her decision, stating that accepting prize money would violate the rules governing collegiate athletes in the U.S.
In a letter to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Courtney expressed her commitment to playing for Nigeria, regardless of financial incentives.
“I am delighted to play for Nigeria whenever called upon. I knew before leaving for the U-20 World Cup that I would not accept any bonuses,” D**e wrote.
She further explained that “knowing this beforehand, I still chose to represent the country because I believed the experience would be more valuable than the money, and I was right.”
Courtney’s performance on the pitch was as remarkable as her off-field principles.
Courtney made headlines at the tournament by scoring the fastest goal in FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup history—just 14 seconds into Nigeria's match against Korea Republic
Born in Edmond, Oklahoma, to Nigerian parents Vincent and Jacinta D**e, Courtney grew up excelling in both academics and football.
Born on February 3, 1995, D**e is part of a distinguished soccer family.
Her brother, Bright D**e, and cousin, Emmanuel Emenike, both played for Nigeria's senior men's national team, the Super Eagles.
At Edmond North High School, she scored over 90 goals and later became one of only seven players in Oklahoma State University (OSU) history to earn all-conference status at least three times.
D**e capped her collegiate career with numerous accolades and graduated in 2017 with a master's degree in accounting.
In 2015, D**e continued to make waves on the international stage, earning two caps for Nigeria at the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada.
Her brief but impactful international career includes representing Nigeria at the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup, where she made history as the first native Oklahoman to ever play in a World Cup match.
Now 29 years old, Courtney D**e has transitioned from the soccer field to the accounting field.
A certified public accountant, she currently resides in Los Angeles, where she continues to contribute to her community in new ways.
Despite her many achievements, Courtney D**e remains grounded, valuing her experiences over financial gain and setting a powerful example for future generations.

*If this story is true, some Nigerian Airport operational staff need to be sacked promptly before they do more damage to our national interests.*
LONDON MAIDEN FLIGHT: *How we fought restriction of Air Peace return flight by officials (at Muritala Mohammed Airport) – Onyema*
• Says passengers would have spent hours getting to terminal building.
Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace, Dr Allen Onyema, yesterday, said when Air Peace returned from its maiden flight to London, *some staff of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, tried to restrict its aircraft to landing at a rejected part of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport,* MMIA Lagos, far from the port’s new terminal.
Onyema noted that such an action would have exposed passengers to difficulties, saying it would have taken them hours to get to the terminal building.
Speaking on The Morning Show, an Arise TV programme, he said despite the fact that *C-23 at the new terminal was free for use, the officials chose to reserve it for a foreign carrier at the expense of an indigenous carrier.*
His words: “When our aircraft landed, thank God I was there because this thing had happened before. Let me excuse the leadership of FAAN, Mrs Olubunmi Kuku; and the Director of Air Operations, Captain Abdullahi Mahmood, both doing fantastically well.
“The wickedness in the system is stinking. The only carrier doing international operations in Nigeria landed and it was kept somewhere in the bush, a disused side of the airport. They expect us to use rickety buses to take international passengers to the new terminal which the international airlines rejected when it was opened.
“For those on that plane which landed yesterday, it would have taken about six hours for people to exit the airport. They put us near Nigerian Aviation Handling Company, NAHCO, which is very far. And nobody is using that end. No aircraft, not even foreign or local.
Meanwhile, C-23 at the new terminal was opened.
“When my captain called, he said it was reserved for a foreign airline at the expense of a Nigerian airline. Our aircraft, coming from London, was to be packed in one bush about two kilometres to our terminal.
Can you imagine the time it would take us to take people from there to the terminal building? It would have taken about nine hours and Nigerians would have hated Air Peace because they wouldn’t know.
*“There are internal conspiracies within Nigeria. Some Nigerians are praying that we fail,* but the good thing is that nobody is God.
Do you know what I did? I called my operations control centre, who could reach the pilot. I told him to tell the pilot to block the taxiway. It was when British Airways landed that they started making moves to tell us to go to where we rightly belonged.”

Around 1am this morning, I played back the tribute of former CBN Gov and Emir Sanusi Lamido during Herbert Wigwe's night of tribute
It underscored the importance of Loyalty and building a network of good friends
According to Sanusi, he was detroned as Emir by 9am. The plan was to send him on exile for many years. But by 12 noon, his friend Herbert had chattered a plane to pick Sanusi and his family from Kano airport
Instead of moving on exile, Herbert moved Sanusi and Family to Lagos, kept them in a Hotel for fews days and later rented an apartment for him ( all expense paid)
Last nite, a whole Sanusi was weeping on Live TV over the beautiful memories with Herbert.
It was one call to Herbert that saved Sanusi from shame and exile.
For those who do not understand how powerful friendship and network is, keep burning bridges
One day, you will be stranded but your"Saviour" Will be nowhere because you have destroyed the bridge
I am a beneficiary of network. I am a testimony of Loyalty. I have been saved several times by just ONE call. Believe me when I say, you may not be a Rich man but your network of solid friends will work for you.
STOP BURNING BRIDGES!
My Thanks Goes To:-

From Dream to Reality: Powering Igbo Progress with the Geometric Power Plant
Professor Bart Nnaji, the visionary behind the $800 million Geometric Power Plant, isn't your average businessman.
He's a man driven by a burning desire to see Igbo land, and by extension, Nigeria, rise to its full potential.
His latest project isn't just about generating electricity; it's about igniting an economic revolution.
"Aba wasn't the easiest choice," Nnaji admits. Lucrative locations like Lagos or Abuja beckoned with promises of quicker returns. But for Nnaji, it was never about profit alone. He saw in Aba a sleeping giant, stifled by the lack of a vital ingredient: reliable power.
This wasn't just an intellectual exercise; it was deeply personal. Nnaji, a professor of manufacturing engineering, had firsthand experience with the struggles of Igbo industrialists.
His own dream of building a world-class auto parts plant in Enugu was crushed by the very enemy he now sought to vanquish - epileptic power supply.
"The request from Dr. Okonjo-Iweala and Dr. Wolfohnson was the spark," Nnaji recalls. "But the fire already burned within me. Aba, with its vibrant manufacturing spirit, was the perfect tinderbox."
The journey wasn't smooth. Ten years of legal battles, financial hurdles, and community concerns tested Nnaji's resolve. But like the Nnewi people who built their town brick by brick, Nnaji persevered.
Today, the 188-megawatt Geometric Power Plant stands tall in Osisioma, a beacon of hope for Abia's nine local governments. It's not just generating electricity; it's generating jobs, opportunities, and a renewed sense of possibility.
This isn't just a story about power generation. It's a story about believing in a community, about taking charge of one's destiny, and about the transformative power of a single dream.
It's a story that inspires, challenges and reminds us that even in the face of darkness, there's always a light waiting to be ignited.
Share this story to inspire someone in your space.
