Commissioned by , three of the many incredible women who have lived or worked in Lewisham and who have made a positive change to our community, or society more generally will have their murals painted as part of the Brockley Max festival in Spring. The winners will be chosen by public online vote.

February is almost over, this year is flying by. Make sure you take a moment to observe and feel, so we all don't get lost In the journey.

My son is almost 8 months old, he's becoming more active which means I become more physically active as i look after him/ chase after him 😉

The means women go through to be a mother and to go back to work is extraordinary. I had to express on a train so that my mother could look after him as I taught a session. Intense.

Important lesson is to do what you have to do to survive but make sure you give yourself time and some TLC.

Close to Home rehearsals

We have both just finished an intensive period of teaching and creating on young dancers. Teaching exercises from Alleyne Sisters Workout was perfect as it allowed the young dancers to work calmly and effectively
without exhausting themselves.

I'm entering my 2nd week back into work with an opened mind. Having a little one at work takes some adapting, he has to join me on my journey and I need to listen to his little journey. Its a collaboration.
