There are literally hundreds of tests available. We have selected carefully a number of highly regarded tests some clinically based some purely occupationally. Once candidate testing or group / batch tests.

Psychometric tests are a standard and scientific method used to measure individual's mental capabilities and behavioural style.

Psychometric tests are designed to measure candidates' suitability for a role based on the required personality characteristics and aptitude (or cognitive abilities). They identify the extent to which candidates' personality and cognitive abilities match those required to perform the role. Employers use the information collected from the psychometric test to identify the hidden aspects of candidates that are difficult to extract from a face-to-face interview.

Ability tests (or aptitude tests) are standardised methods of assessing an individual's performance in different work-related tasks or situations. They measure potential rather than just academic performance and are frequently used by employers as indicators of how people will perform in a work setting.

Behavioural tests measure behavioral competencies. The combination of skills, knowledge, and traits in an individual cumulatively form behavioral competencies. Behavioural competencies are a job's components that reflect in behavior and are observable in the workplace.

Psychometrics and ability tests are used to judge a likely behavioural style or outcome in a work situation. They are never used in isolation but in collaboration with other data such as interviews, cv, and qualifications.

We have multiple approved psychometric testing instruments and British Psychological Society Qualified Psychometricians. We can accommodate small one-off testing or larger batch or group testing

All of our tests are registered and not available off the shelf unless administered by a qualified administrator.

Bullying and Corporate Psychopaths at Work: Clive Boddy at TEDxHanzeUniversity 29/04/2021

Bullying and Corporate Psychopaths at Work.

This TED conference explains why bullying is so common in business.

Bullies are predatory.

Bullies achieve their objective by creating smoke screens to forward their agenda while everyone else is distracted.

Why do psychopaths get promoted up the hierarchy more than normal people?

Enron the biggest fraud in corporate history was said to have an extreme culture of bullying, they bullied everyone associated with them. It's not unusual for the psychopath to eventually bring down the organisation and that is why they are so dangerous to the corporation.

We saw this with Layman Brothers and RBS.

Narcissists are always Psychopaths.

When accused it gets swept under the table employees get paid off and slapped with an NDA, the psychopath is promoted.

Bullying and Corporate Psychopaths at Work: Clive Boddy at TEDxHanzeUniversity Clive is a Professor of Leadership and Organizational Behavior at Middlesex University in England. For the past seven years, he has studied the evidence and ...

Award in Critical Leadership and Management (15 hours delivered online virtually).

One of the problems for many small and medium-sized organisations is to be able to skill-up their Team Leaders or Line Managers. Believe it or not, there are literally hundreds of thousands of certificated courses out there, the problem is they are controlled by a college, university or awarding bodies' their perception of what the content should be (the curriculum). It creates so much confusion and a global lack of consistency.

We have designed our Award around 5 Modules that we believe are critical skills areas in upskilling your Team Leaders or Line Managers (each module has 3 units of 1 hour). We call it the Survivors Award suitable for newly appointed Team Leaders or Line Managers or those that have been in post for some time.

Delivered using Virtual Technology even our certificates are sent electronically for printing at your end. Everything is in One Price.

We can deliver in-company at set times or in an open way bringing multiple people together from across the world.

Purchase Line Manager Competency Framework (9 Line Manager Competencies with Positive and Negative Behavioural Measures) – Jasper International Academy Store 16/10/2020

Dear All

New - Line Manager Competency Framework

Recently I published a Senior Manager Competency Framework, here below we now invite you to take a look at our Line Manager Competency Framework.

A competency framework is a means by which organisations communicate which behaviours are required, valued, recognised and rewarded with respect to specific occupational roles. It ensures that staff, in general, have a common understanding of the organisation’s values and expected excellent performance behaviours.

All companies will have their own ideas of what behaviours they want to see. These are 9 common line manager competencies each with positive and negative measures that you can purchase from us.

1. Judgement
2. Planning and Organising
3. Evaluation Skills
4. Taking decisions
5. Influencing
6. Initiative
7. Resource Management
8. Developing People
9. Innovation

Example: Innovation Measures

Able to take novel approaches, to introduce fresh ideas and insights, and to improve on traditional methods or established practices

Positive Attributes

• Tries out alternative approaches, new ideas or new methods
• Questions the way things are done; suggests improvements and makes changes
• Uses new information to generate and explore ideas or new directions
• Stimulates others to generate ideas, explore opportunities, possibilities or challenges

Negative Attributes

• Sticks to ‘tried and tested’ methods; rejects new ideas; prefers the routine approach
• Accepts the ‘status quo’; does not see alternatives or options
• Sticks to ‘the facts’ and what is known; does not explore or experiment; does not see connections
• Keeps ideas to self; deters innovation in others

There are many frameworks including cognitive competence so those of analytical and conceptual thinking. Cognitive competence is a field in its own right and includes aspects of understanding how the brain works in processing information. There are Six areas that a specialist should be familiar with so Cognitive Competence is one, Behavioural Competence, Social Competence, Occupational Competence, Occupational Standards being five.

The final one requires an understanding of how Universities actually measure competence. This has caused significant debate around whether students are prepared adequately for the world of work.

Free Course Leading and Implementing Digitization Strategy & Cyber Defence

About this event

Delivered by Chairman / CEO Dr Marshall Potts, if you lead an organisation you really need to understand what your IT and Cyber departments are up to and how they are protecting your company - Jasper Global Corporation is a fully digitized Virtual Company and has been since 2006.

Find out what we did, why we did it that way and where we located and why we located in that particular location. This is not the theory of digitisation or cyber defence we have actually succeeded as a learning organisation. I will use some real examples of well-known brands who have also succeeded in digitising their companies using robotics and AI.

However, being digitized presents a number of inherent threats particularly Cyber-Threats.

Leading and Implementing a Digitisation Strategy and Cyber Security Defence

Register here: https://store.jasperinternationalacademy.com/free-taster-course/

The digital strategy focuses on using technology to improve business performance, whether that means creating new products or reimagining current processes. It specifies the direction an organisation will take to create new competitive advantages with technology, as well as the tactics it will use to achieve these changes. This usually includes changes to business models, as new technology makes it possible for innovative companies to provide services that were not previously possible.

Join us for a virtual training session led by Dr Marshall Potts, CEO & Chairman of Jasper Global Corporation.

"The Virtual Organisation is a flexible network of independent entities linked by telecommunication and computing technologies to share skills, knowledge and access to expertise in non-traditional ways. It is a form of cooperation involving companies, institutions and/or individuals delivering a product or service on the basis of a common business understanding. Units participate in the collaboration and present themselves as a unified organisation".
