Starting out on a new career path isn’t the most difficult part. Keeping up your pace can be just as challenging: problems arise, things don’t work out as you had planned, clients can get difficult - all the more reason to want to give up. But is it worth it? We have collected some tips that will help you when your motivation runs low ⤵️

1️⃣Don't give up if things don’t work out. If you couldn’t complete a task on the first attempt – that’s not a reason to give up on it, it's a reason to take a deep breath, drink some coffee, rest and take it on with renewed strength. After solving such a "thorny" issue, you feel like a superhero, and when you face difficulties again, you already know how nice it is to carry on rather than give up. And this is very motivating!

2️⃣ Imagine what will happen if you continue on your path and what will happen if you quit. Sometimes you want to drop everything just on a whim. But you need to understand that these are just temporary feelings. Remind yourself: if I give up all this, I will lose the opportunity to work in one of the most exciting and highly paid professions that I can grow in. I will have to look for a job as an office worker who fills out paperwork. Of course, this is an all right job, but is this what I aspire to?

3️⃣ Think of how far you’ve gone. Consider the fact that once not long ago you did not know what layout was, and now you are already creating a landing page. And this took only a month! These are the steps that will one day take you to your goal.

4️⃣ Use different sources on the same topic, not only materials from the course - read articles on specialised sites, find relevant books, complete additional exercises, watch videos on YouTube. Maintain interest in the material you are learning.
