My Montessori Home Montessori/Forest school setting for children age 16m+. open Monday - Friday 9:30am - 3:30pm

My Montessori Home is a loving home based Montessori setting located on Victoria Road, in Ruislip Manor. Run by Pippa Butcher, a qualified Montessori and Forest school Early years Educator and childminder, registered with Ofsted. My Montessori Home offers children from 18months upwards the opportunity to be cared for in a true Montessori environment, there is room to explore inside and out with a covered deck and astro turf with space to learn and play in nature. We offer an environment that has been carefully prepared for the child following their interests and developmental abilities, children will have the freedom to freely choose what they would like to use and be supported to learn at their own pace. Care of the environment including the care of plants and animals, is part of the practical life curriculum and is an important part of the Montessori ethos. Having a dog in which the children will be around in a supervised way will greatly support the children in learning this, enhancing their abilities to learn responsibility, empathy and compassion for other living things, respect for life and the natural development of living things. Pippa has 5 years’ experience within the education sector and gained a Montessori Pedagogy – Birth to seven years (Early years Educator) L4 diploma with Montessori Centre International (MCI). Pippa also holds a Level 3 Forest school leader’s qualification, Rainbow Kids yoga Qualification and a CACHE award in preparing to work in a homebased childcare from professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (PACEY). Pippa is Paediatric first aid trained, has an enhanced DBS and holds full Public Liability insurance.
