Had a bad day? Bad week? Not feeling on top of your game. We get it. It’s okay to take breaks. And then it’s okay to throw your notes across your room… and it’s also okay to pick them all back up and carry on. In fact, if you know it’s good for you and it’s helping you achieve your goals, we encourage you to continue. While there’s power in quitting, there’s also power in carrying on… because in six months time you can either be 1. Exactly where you are right now or 2. Have 6 months of hard work behind you. You can probably tell that I did a fair share of work in corporate. Entering into my first job after university was not the mistake, it was diving into countless corporate jobs after quiting the previous one, thinking I would be a better fit elsewhere ☹️
I wasted years trying to fit into this mold of the 9-5 career, house owner, fancy car blah blah blah.
I was miserable. And I had qualifications that I thought only suited corporate.
After all my mistakes I let myself fall into whatever was natural. 🌿
I stopped thinking about money and climbing the corporate ladder. All I made sure of was that I was happy - corny, I know
If you’re stuck, you will figure it out. But just don’t lie to yourself along the way.
No one really knows what they’re doing anyway.
