The Lotus Flower grows in muddy water.
The murkier the water the more beautiful the bloom. It rises above the surface completely clean and perfect without a trace of dirt.

A mandala is not just a pretty circle.
The word comes from Sanskrit and means circle. In Hindu and Buddhist traditions mandalas are used as tools for meditation, prayer and connection to something greater than yourself.
The sacred geometry of the mandala has been used for thousands of years to calm the mind and raise the frequency of whoever creates it. The repetitive drawing quiets the mental chatter. The focus required means the inner critic has nowhere to land.
By the time you finish you've done a full meditation without even noticing.
I have been drawing mandalas for 30 years. Tonight I teach you how to draw one.
