Lights and darks help drawings to look more dramatic. This was explored through colour & with some of my after school club students.

we explored shadows & patterns looking at the artist Lotte Reiniger for inspiration. We used charcoals & chalks to create these amazing pieces

we examined shadows & objects this week by using torches to explore manipulating shadow for effect. We used De Chirico as inspiration & enjoyed a range of drawing materials including some fab rainbow pencils to experiment further
