This full moon is in Leo at 27 degrees today on 16th Feb. It is happening at 4:57pm GMT and 8:57am PT, 11.57am ET. As mentioned before we have 7 full moons in a row at 27 degrees and this one is the fifth one.

Full Moons are always the peak of the cycle that's open when we have the culmination, closure, receiving the fruit of our labour and what we seeded, the energy comes to its head, feelings can be at times very emotional. So it is important to see where 27 degrees of Leo falls into your chart.

The Most Powerful New Moon Of The Year Is Here

This New Moon in Aquarius (12 degrees) is also the start of the Lunar new year for many in this world and a big celebration for the year of the Tiger. It will take place on Jan 31st at 9:45pm PT and Feb 1st at 5:45am GMT, 00:45am ET

We are now seeding new intentions, new directions and new energies to where we want to go next. 12 degrees of Aquarius was a point in your chart, undergoing perhaps ongoing change throughout the previous year.

Now, have you felt like this in the last few days or maybe even right now?

Have you been feeling trapped or restricted in some areas of your life? Perhaps you have experienced feelings of anger or maybe sadness or hopelessness and maybe also of being misunderstood?

First activation of the energies in the Taurus/Scorpio nodal axis and it is making us reflecting back to the energies brought up in the Nov 2021 lunar eclipse. Try to remind yourself what you experienced then (especially if you journal).

Full moon in Cancer on 17th Jan 2022 happening at 11:48pm GMT, 6:48pm ET & 3:48pm PT. This Full Moon is the 4th Full Moon in a row at 27 degrees of that sign. (there are 7th in a row at that degree and this is not a coincidence. Any of your planets sitting at 27 degrees will be activated for sure).

Full Moon is always a time for culmination, a great time for clearing and releasing and also for receiving what we seeded 2 weeks before or month before. It is the time when the moon is illuminated the most by the sun on the opposite side.

Now this Full Moon in Cancer has a special flavour to it because it is taking place during the Mercury retrograde (always linked to tech issues, systems not working quite as smoothly, communication systems or just communication issues in general). In Capricorn, it is linked to authority, the archetypal father energy, the banking industry, the economy, finances. We have 4 planets sitting in Capricorn so a lot of energies around it with Pluto, the Sun, Venus and Mercury. This is a very powerful cocktail of energies on the Capricorn side. Pluto is about secrets and is bringing a big intensity to the party.

On the other hand, Cancer is associated with home, nurturing, family, safety, where you go at the end of the day, where you retreat. It is also the energy of motherhood, our roots for our emotion. It is a very sensitive, gentle, caring, gentle, loving, empathetic energy and has a need to be nurtured and also feels instinctively what others need to be nurtured.

This Moon in Cancer feels vulnerable, softer, overwhelmed, defensive and exhausted from all those energies. So give yourself some time and space. Self-care is necessary right now.
