This Wednesday, Nikita Golovko finished leading the last lesson of our Software Architecture course. Before we get into gushing about what an amazing and experienced architect Nikita is, I want to instead share the opinions of the experienced engineers who just spent 15 weeks under his dedicated mentorship. 🎓

Gwen Campbell: "Nikita took all the mystery around Architecture and AI and helped me actually understand what's happening under the hood. I'm walking away much more confident to challenge decisions and think through alternatives."

Vahe Evoyan: "Nikita has this incredible way of getting you to brainstorm and think through problems yourself, then helping you formalize that thinking into real, structured knowledge."

Yesterday, another Software Architecture course came to a close, led by Ariel Tarayants, Solutions Architect at AWS.

Before anything else: congratulations to everyone who made it to the finish line. 🎓

This group came in with years of production experience, real software, and real decisions already behind them.
This program took their real-world experience, and built on it to provide real system design skills. The kind of skills that turn those years of experience into real, usable confidence in architecture.

Maciek put it perfectly: "After this course, I’m really confident that there's no secret technology or blind spot I need to worry about. I know I'm covered."

Pedro added: "This course let me go so much deeper, especially on the backend side, in data streaming and big data, areas I hadn't had the chance to fully explore before."

Michal echoed the same sentiment: "What stood out most were the real-world discussions and Ariel's knowledge and insight. That is the kind of insight you simply do not find in a textbook."

These are engineers who were already excellent at what they do, and are walking away from this course as excellent architects.

Yesterday, another Software Architecture course came to a close, led by Avraham Poupko, Senior Software Architect at Imperva. Before anything else, we want to say thank you to him, and congratulations to every single person who graduated! 🎓

Avraham said something in the final session that stuck with us.

He talked about how much he enjoyed teaching a room that ranged from developers just getting into their senior engineering roles to architects with 20 and 30 years behind them, and how that mixture made the course more enriching for everyone, himself included. He expressed how strong the participation was and how real the questions were throughout.

That’s the kind of energy you get when the person leading the room makes people feel comfortable enough to ask, curious enough to dig deeper, and engaged enough to keep showing up week after week.

The students felt it too.

Andrew Smitherim: "Your knowledge, and the way you condensed all of it and shared it with us, was amazing. I would not have found the time to learn any of this on my own."

Look at this Zoom room for a second.

Every person on the screen has spent years building real software, shipping real products, solving real problems under real pressure.

Nobody in that room is new to this industry. Nobody needed convincing that they were ready for the next step of their career.

And out of all the software developers who applied to be in our Software Architecture course, this is the group that made it in.

Leading them for the next 15 weeks is Lee Blum, who has spent over a decade in software architecture, and currently leads architecture at Cognyte, a global cybersecurity company whose systems help governments and agencies track down real threats to national security. Systems that are not allowed to fail.
That is the standard Lee has operated at for two decades, and for the next 15 weeks, that is the standard Lee will hold this group up to. 🎓

These experienced professionals sat down for their first session of the course together last week.

Fifteen weeks from now, they will look back at this photo and barely recognize where they started. 💪

This past Wednesday, another group of experienced engineers completed our Software Architecture course at Global Dev Experts, this time led by Masha Igra. 🎓

Masha is Senior Principal Architect at ZoomInfo, a company generating over $1.2 billion in annual revenue. Before that, Software Architect at KLA, a semiconductor giant valued at over $9 billion, and Orbotech, acquired for $3.4 billion. She has spent her career designing large-scale, AI-driven architectures in production, and mentoring dozens of engineers and architects through the most complex technical challenges imaginable.

For 15 weeks, this group had that experience in the room with them every single week.

André Cavalheiro: "The biggest insight for me was talking with a real architect and hearing about the common problems and the daily reality of the role. That experience was invaluable."

Snehal Sharma, named honor student of this cohort: "It is really challenging to cover so many aspects of software architecture end to end, and Masha did exactly that, going through everything from every perspective, and being patient enough to answer every single question." 🏆

To celebrate, last week, we announced our own squad. 🏆

The group of senior developers you see above were handpicked and evaluated before earning their place, stepping onto the pitch for the first session of our Software Architecture course with Arnon Goldstein.

Every great team needs a world class coach. Their coach, Arnon, spent almost a decade as Senior Software Architect at Microsoft before becoming Program Architects Team Lead at Salesforce, leading architectural strategy for AI-powered systems used by hundreds of thousands of businesses worldwide.

The group in this photo has the experience, the ambition, and now the right person in their corner.

The whistle has blown, and this squad has started their 15 weeks of intensive training.

Lee Blum has spent well over a decade leading software architecture for various companies, and now serves as Lead Architect at Cognyte, a prominent cybersecurity company whose software is used by governments and intelligence agencies around the world to tackle the highest level of security threats. The systems he has spent his career designing and building are ones that simply cannot fail.

He is also one of the exceptional instructors teaching Software Architecture at Global Dev Experts. And this past Wednesday, another group of experienced engineers completed his Software Architecture course. 🎓

AI is reshaping what product management looks like faster than most people realize.
The role has changed more in the past three years than in the previous fifteen.
The skills that matter, the tools that are expected, the way products are built and launched, all of it is changing.

Last week they sat down with Maayan Yedidia Dotan for the first session of our AI Product Management course.

Maayan spent eight years at Microsoft building AI products at scale, from designing recommendation algorithms for Xbox to leading vision and strategy for Azure Video Indexer alongside Fortune 500 companies.

This group is learning how AI product management actually works right now, from someone who has been building it in real time at one of the companies setting the standard for everyone else.

The timing of this group's decision is going to look very smart in hindsight 🎯

Not everyone gets to be in this group.

Every developer in this photo has spent years in the tech industry.
Writing code, shipping products, solving problems that most people will never encounter.
Their experience was carefully evaluated by our admissions team before they could enroll in our Software Architecture Course.

Last week they sat down with Jukka Rohila for the first session of our Software Architecture course. Jukka spent four years as Lead Architect at Kindred Group, owning the architecture for a platform serving 10 million customers across 350 microservices processing stock exchange level transaction volumes every single day. Before that, Senior Architect Architect at HP, architecting enterprise systems for a global organization of 65,000 employees.

For the next 15 weeks, Jukka will be mentoring this group of experienced and talented engineers, and turning them into job-ready Software Architects.

This group worked a long time to get to this moment.
And the best part? It is only the beginning of the next step in their careers. 🎓
