It takes a unique kind of courage to invest in yourself
when you're already good at what you do.

You're a senior developer. You've earned your place.
You know your stack inside and out.

You know you're ready to move into architecture. You just need to take that first step.

This week, a new group of senior developers took that step.
They joined Avraham Poupko, one of the most accomplished software architects working today,
for the first session of our Software Architecture course.

Avraham architects systems at Global-e, a company valued at over $5.58B.
In the course of doing this, he manages teams of architects worldwide,
as well as leading 15 architects on a day to day basis.
He has spent decades solving the kinds of architectural problems
most developers only read about.

For the next 15 weeks, his experience is going to be passed on to that group.

Not everyone will make this bet on themselves.
But the ones who do tend to look back and wonder why they waited so long.

Make a bet on yourself. It’s the winning move.

Developers, have you ever asked yourself, what’s it like to work at Amazon? 🤔

Last week, a group of developers found out all about it.
That group of developers logged in for their first lesson with Ariel Tarayants:
Enterprise Architect at Amazon Web Services,
where he has a part in designing systems
bringing in $90 billion in annual revenue.

Think about what that means for these developers for a moment.

The person now teaching these students doesn't just talk about ‘systems that scale’.
He architects them, every day at his day job.
He does that at a company where a single system failure
could impact millions of customers and billions in transactions.

Ariel has spent years solving the exact problems these developers will face as they transition from writing code to architecting systems.

Our students aren't just learning patterns and principles.
They're learning how someone thinks when the stakes are this high.
When architectural decisions impact global scale operations.

That's the Global Dev Experts difference.
When your instructor designs for hundreds of millions of users,
You don't just learn architecture.
You learn to think like an Enterprise Architect at Amazon thinks.

So if you’re asking yourself…
What’s it like working at Amazon, at Microsoft, at Salesforce?
Well, join one of our courses and ask our instructors directly,
they can tell you from first-hand experience!

Last Wednesday marked the end of another Software Architecture course led by Lee Blum.

We COULD tell you about how he leads architecture for cyber defense systems at Cognyte, about his groundbreaking cost optimizations, or his proficiency with AI Architecture, a topic on which he recently delivered lectures at conferences in Europe.

But the experienced engineers that graduated from his course last week tell the story better:

George Panagiotou: "The course had a variety of subjects covered and explained in detail. Provided real added value for designing and developing infrastructure through actual real-life examples, not just theoretical ideas. I got more from this program than I even expected to."

Angelo Buttigieg: "It gives a broad spectrum of information. I really enjoyed the discussions and being able to ask Lee questions. What made the program stand out most for me was the ability to interact with each other, the human element helps you keep engaged. The thing that was best about the program was that Lee was always there to explain whenever there was uncertainty."

Dinesh Budhathoki: "Very clear concepts on software architecture ranging from important fundamentals to advanced concepts. I am confident enough to advance my career as a Software Architect. I still have more to level up, but the instructor was excellent in delivering the topics."

That’s what our course is about. Real mentorship from experienced leading software architects, human connection, not just content. Not just a knowledge transfer, but instilling in our students the confidence to advance their careers.

That's what happens when a world-class expert with a passion for teaching meets dedicated, serious software professionals, ready to put the work into advancing their careers into software architecture.

Congratulations to our newest architects. The journey continues.

Last week, a class of talented software developers logged off from their last lesson.

After 15 weeks of intensive technical training, our Software Architecture course with Arnon Goldstein has come to a close.

They all got a look at what the Software Architects working in Arnon’s team at SalesForce see every day: what it really means to lead architecture at the highest level, where important technical decisions can make or break the company.

Now, this new generation of architects isn't just ready to architect systems, they’re already thinking like the ones who shape them across industries.

Last week might have been the last lesson of the course, but we’ve only just started the journey of the systems-defining architects they have become.

We’re proud, inspired, and excited to watch what you all build next 🚀

At Global-e, Avraham Poupko architects the architects.

He leads the teams that design systems for a $5.5B cross-border commerce platform.
He manages over 20 software architects across Europe
who make sure that millions of transactions
can be made across continents every day.

But yesterday, he began architecting something different.

Not systems.
Not teams.

Future software architects.

Avraham is someone who led company-wide architecture
through billion-dollar exits at NDS and Forescout.
He guides how Global-e's architects think, design, and build.
He speaks at the Global Software Architecture Summit
about his vast knowledge of modern software architecture.

Yesterday, he began applying that same expert architectural knowledge to mentoring a new session of our Software Architecture course.

In yesterday’s lesson, our new students didn't just learn about architecture.
They learned how someone who architects architects THINKS.

The questions weren't about how to design systems,
but about how Avraham has built systems at the many companies he’s led to success.

That's the difference when your instructor doesn't just build systems.

When he builds the builders.

Because when you join our course, you're not just learning architecture.
You're learning from someone who teaches and guides architects on a daily basis.

You’re learning how to architect your own transformation
into the leader you know you can be.

We’re looking forward to witnessing how our newest students transform, and seeing the architects they become! ✨

🎤 We could talk about our Software Architecture Instructor Lee Blum all day.

How he architects systems that scale for entire nations as the lead architect at Cognyte..
How he revolutionized infrastructure during his time at GigaSpaces.
How he speaks Big Data and Software Architecture conferences worldwide.

We could go on and on about our Software Architecture program.
The accelerated training process. The rigorous and thorough curriculum.
How our students transform from developers to architects during the course.

But why would we, when our graduates say it better?

Davide Listello:

"I already feel more confident when applying to job positions. Thank you Lee for the amazing teaching and all the material shared with us! Wish all of you good luck in making IT architecture design best practices and cloud solutions more accessible and easier to understand."

Rui Eloi:

"Thank you Lee! I learned a lot not only from you but from the rest of the class. Really good start to our architectural path."

Madhusudhan Revankar:

"Thanks Lee! Your great training sessions helped me think, explore and expand my skills towards the Software Architect career path."

Malcolm Carabott:

"Even someone like me with 20 years of software development experience was able to learn a lot from the course. Lee was a great instructor, always answered questions and was helpful. I would rate the course 10/10."

When developers with two decades of experience rate us 10/10,
when our graduates say they’re ready to step
onto the path of the architect after finishing our course,
when people are already confidently negotiating new employment opportunities
only days after finishing the training program…

Well, there’s really nothing left for us to say! 😶

Arnon Goldstein: The Architect Who Teaches Architects 💡

Arnon Goldstein leads the Program Architects team at Salesforce.
Every day, he mentors the architects building systems
that serve millions of users across enterprise platforms all over the world.

Yesterday, he opened our latest Software Architecture course.

There's something different about learning architecture
from someone who doesn't just teach it or used to practice it,
but who actively guides architects solving problems at this scale.

Arnon sees the patterns that break systems at the biggest scale you can imagine.
He knows which ‘good ideas’ survive contact with reality
and which ones crumble under production pressure.
He understands what separates the architects who earn millions
from those who earn hundreds of thousands.

The developers in this session come from over 25 different countries,
from companies building cutting edge software,
financial platforms, healthcare systems and more.

They've spent years mastering code.
Now they're learning to master the decisions that determine
whether systems succeed or collapse under their own complexity.

When Arnon shows them how to think like an architect,
he's not pulling from textbooks or outdated case studies.
He's sharing the process he uses at Salesforce
when evaluating architectural decisions that can't afford to be wrong.

For the next 15 weeks, these developers get access to expertise
that usually lives behind the walls of tech giants,
reserved for internal architecture teams.

They're about to learn from the architect,
that other million dollar architects defer to.
And we can't wait to see where this journey takes them. ✨

Yesterday we held the last lesson of another incredible 15-week journey with Lee Blum, and wow, what a transformation we've witnessed!

Our Rockstar instructor and Lead Software Architect at Cognyte just wrapped up another life-changing program, and the feedback from our graduates has our smiles splitting our faces with pride.

Tomasz Baraniecki shared something that really captured the magic of our software architecture course:

"From an architect's point of view, it's awesome. It pushed me more than I could imagine. But there's another angle I discovered! I used to think of architects as 'magical scary guys,' but they're just people, and that mentally brought me closer. Lee opened many horizons for me, and talking with the other experienced developers in the course group was incredibly helpful!"

Tamar Kulijanishvili commented on a personal breakthrough:

"I discovered gaps in my knowledge and learned exactly where I needed to improve. The fact that the program covers so many aspects of software architecture is really beneficial."

And Yordan Stankov perfectly summed up what makes learning from Lee so special:

"The industry-inspired, up-to-date examples; the friendly environment facilitating open discussions where everyone shares their experience; the variety of topics matching day-to-day architect activities and decisions; and Lee's availability for questions throughout."

This is what happens when someone like Lee who has built systems for governments worldwide takes 15 weeks to pour everything into a group of dedicated developers.

To our newest architects: You came in as developers. You're leaving as systems thinkers, problem solvers, and leaders.
The "software architect" isn't some distant foreboding figure anymore… It's YOU now!

Can't wait to hear about all the amazing things you'll build out there. Keep us posted on your architectural adventures! 🚀

1️⃣📅 Wednesday marked Day One for a carefully selected group of experienced developers who just took the first step toward software architectural mastery.

They are lucky enough to be under the wing of one of the most prolific architects out there; Arnon Goldstein, Program Architects Team Lead at Salesforce. Currently leading a team of elite architects who drive strategic solutions for one of the world's most powerful platforms, Arnon also used to be Principal Architect at Microsoft, implementing core platform features that Fortune 500 companies depend on daily.

Here’s the real kicker: At Salesforce, Arnon shapes and mentors the architects who build tomorrow's enterprise systems. Now, he's bringing that same expertise to your classroom. Those same principles, patterns, and strategic thinking he uses to develop world-class architects at Salesforce? That's exactly what the students in our latest course will be learning.

To everyone who joined us this week, you're not just taking a course.

You're being mentored by someone who knows precisely what it was like to build the architecture for the Copilot AI at Microsoft, someone who architects the strategic solutions that power Salesforce's most complex enterprise implementations.
Someone who's made it his mission to transform talented developers like you into the architects these companies seek.

Welcome to your future as architects. Wednesday was Day One of the rest of your careers 🚀

🚀 To Everyone Who Started Their Software Architecture Journey Last Tuesday:

You're now 2 weeks into something extraordinary.

While others debated, you decided. While others wondered, you walked through the door.

And you're learning from Lee Blum, the same architect who'll be delivering the keynote at Big Data Europe next month, sharing insights on petabyte-scale systems with industry leaders from around the globe.

Think about that for a moment.

The person teaching you this week is the same expert that conferences worldwide seek out. The architect that Fortune 500 companies trust with their most critical systems. The leader who transformed infrastructure at Cognyte, who's implemented successful systems optimizations at companies both large and small.

You're not in just any course. You're in THE course.

Lee doesn't just speak at global tech events, he brings those same insights directly to your screen every week. The case studies he'll share? They're from the presentations that had standing room only at Strata Data Conference. The architectural principles you're learning? They're what tech leaders pay thousands to hear at exclusive summits.

Right now, somewhere, a developer is googling "how to become a software architect" and finding generic advice.

You? You're learning from someone who's actually built the systems that protect nations and power enterprises.

Your journey has begun. Your instructor is world-class. Your future colleagues, experienced developers and tech leaders, are in this course with you.

Thank you for choosing us to go on this amazing journey with you. You chose wisely. 🎯

🚀 Monday marked the final chapter of another Software Architecture journey, as Lee Blum wrapped up weeks of deep technical and strategic training.

Lee Blum, Architecture and Technology Expert at Cognyte with over two decades of experience leading architecture for SAAS products, has once again guided a group of developers through that crucial leap from writing code to designing systems.

"It's great to set the dots on the horizon," shared Jorge Luis Calderín García. "Getting experiences directly from the instructor improves everything so much. We need to learn not just about technical aspects, but also about soft skills and gain extra experiences. This is something we cannot achieve with recorded classes, having direct contact with the instructor makes all the difference. This training was a great investment that will pay off in the short future."

Etibar Rustamzada found the experience comprehensive: "The course content and materials are excellent, and Lee is a great instructor; I learned so much from him. The course was well-structured, the materials were helpful, and the learning outcomes met all my expectations."

For Hristo Valkanov, the course delivered exactly what he was seeking: "It was a great all-round crash course on what is expected of an architect. It was exactly what I needed, and I believe that I learned what I need to advance professionally."

🌟 Another generation of architects steps forward into their next chapter, equipped not just with architectural patterns and principles, but with the mindset shift that separates those who write code from those who shape systems.

The transformation continues.
