Our little builders have been busy exploring, creating, and learning through hands-on construction play! 🏗️👷‍♀️👷‍♂️
Using diggers, trucks, bricks, sand, and paint, the children developed their imagination, problem-solving skills, hand-eye coordination, and teamwork. From building structures to transporting materials and creating colourful construction tracks, every activity sparked curiosity and creativity.

Our nursery learners discovered the planets through a colourful science experiment, creating swirling “planet surfaces” while exploring colours, textures, and early science concepts. Hands-on learning makes the universe feel a little closer ✨

Little hands, big skills in the making ✋🎨
Play dough is so much more than a fun sensory activity—it’s helping children build the fine motor skills that form the foundation for handwriting.
As children squeeze, pinch, roll, flatten, poke and mould dough, they strengthen the small muscles in their hands and fingers. These movements support:
🖍️ Pencil grip and control
✋ Hand strength and endurance
👆 Finger isolation and dexterity
👀 Hand–eye coordination
🧠 Bilateral coordination (using both hands together)
Adding tools and loose parts encourages even more opportunities for creativity, problem-solving and precision.
Today’s play may look messy and playful—but it’s building the confidence, coordination and control children will later use for writing.

Our nursery children explored numbers while strengthening their fine motor skills by threading colourful cubes onto pipe cleaners. This fun hands-on activity encouraged number recognition, counting, concentration, and hand-eye coordination — all through play! ✨🧩
