The term ‘per cent’ means ‘out of a hundred’. In mathematics, percentages are used like fractions and decimals and can describe parts of a whole. When you are using percentages, the whole is considered to be made up of a hundred equal parts. The symbol % is used to show that a number is a percentage.

The Lunar New Year/Spring Festival is here! In 2021, the Lunar New Year celebrations begin today and can last for up to 16 days. Tied to the lunar calendar, the holiday was traditionally a time to honour household and heavenly deities, as well as ancestors. People will eat lots of tasty food, enjoy fireworks, wear special clothes and hang red lanterns to mark the occasion.

All hail Gitanjali Rao! This young lady has already made some big waves and we are sure that she will continue to invent, innovate and inspire! 🚀
