Any nursery is only as good as its people, which is why at Buttercups we take such pride in our wonderful team. Firstly we aim to recruit the best - people who show genuine love and care for the children. Then, our extensive training and development programme allows all team members to continue to develop their skills and learn new things. Finally, we show them the care they deserve through praise, social events - and occasional treats!

A genuine smile comes from feeling valued and appreciated and we believe children notice the difference!

From recruiting the best to our extensive training programme which keeps them abreast of pedagogies such as Montessori and HighScope. And because they feel valued and taken care of that can share this love with the children.

Meet our In-house Montessori Trainer😀

At Buttercups we strongly believe in the benefits of training our team, that is why we have regular training sessions on multiple disciplines including HighScope, Safer Mealtimes and Outstanding Practice. Montessori is also very important at Buttercups so we are very pleased to announce that our in-house Montessori Trainer, Miss Kirti, is now qualified to train our team-members in Montessori for Infants and Toddlers.

At Buttercups we encourage all of our team members to continue to develop their learning. As well as running acclaimed internal courses we support external learning with time-off for lectures. We believe that investing in our people ultimately pays huge dividends for our little learners.
