Reading with your children is a lovely way to spend time together and help them learn without them even noticing. Below is a link to a lovely story Beatrix Potter book reading for our children. 📜We also have books available to take home from our mini libraries. 🫶

A very short clip on why children might not like the way some things taste 🧐🥦🥬🥒🥕🧄🧅🍠🍆and why it's also helpful to introduce flavours and textures with this in mind, but to still introduce them 👏 As our nursery in Hampden Park Eastbourne did today, making an Autumn soup, prepared (mostly) by our children talking about the ingredients, what they are, where they come from, the colours smells and flavours 🫶

How lucky are we in September 🫶 As we say goodbye to Summer we say hello to so many new little faces, as well as welcoming back some special ones we already know full 🥰 As we so often do at the start of a new season, we kick start our Four Seasons project. Please take a look at the picture and join in, it's a simple way for us to connect what can happen at home with what's happening at Nursery. These projects are great for children, not just because of the many things they learn, but also because doing something together which spans a whole year really strengthens how they think. Of course it's also a lovely way for families to spend time together, which we all know is really the thing children want most in the world. 👩‍🎓👨‍🎓All of our Bluebell school leavers🥰 will have started a new adventure at school now and from the bottom of our hearts, we hope that you are now nicely settled into your new environments, with their big gardens🌳, big lunch rooms🥪 and lots of new friends👫. We have cherished the time you spent with us and are so so very proud 💝of everything you have achieved, your beautiful smiles made everyday special for us. We often say this, because it remains true, our biggest wish for you is that your futures are filled with happiness🌞. We know your days will so very busy, so if you don't have the time we understand, but on your journey, never forget that we are always happy to hear from you and that is guaranteed to put a smile on our faces. Slush ice drinks health warning for the under 4's. Seems to have gone under the radar a bit so we thought best to share.

The FSA has issued new voluntary industry guidance on glycerol in slush-ice drinks, advising that they should not be sold to children four years of age and under.
