We made space masks using paper plates, foil, card, and stickers

We have been looking at space and planets. We printed our own planets using paint, card and bubble wrap.
Some the children told us which planets they knew the names of already mars, venus, Mercury earth.
We spoke about the different planets like how we lived on planet earth, some planets are hot and how people have been to the moon and how they got there in rockets

We have been colour matching and threading beads. The children selected a card and then selected the correct colour beads to match their card. They then threaded their coloured beads onto their pictures.

An update on our beans and sunflowers

We found out our broad beans grew best in the soil. The children got to see them grow over time. They can see the roots in the bottom of the soil too

The sunflowers are growing well in the garden

Unfortunately our tomato seeds were blown over during storm Dave the other week and we couldnt save them
