The children went on a insect hunt at Paddington gardens today using magnifying glasses. They spotted worms and spider webs where they used describing words such as “circle, round, straight wiggly and pink. They then stopped at the chess matt where they matched the counters to the same colours.

This morning here a Swinbrook house nursery school the children made fruit smoothies for their morning snack. They chose which fruits they wanted to use, chopped some of the fruits then added it to the blender where an adult then switched it on. The children liked seeing the different shades of pink that it turned into.

End of year picnic at Regent’s Park. Thank you to all the parents and children from all the staff at Swinbrook house nursery school for another fantastic year. We will miss all our school leavers and are looking forward to seeing the children that are returning in September. Have a lovely summer break. 🦢💜☀️

Todays adult led activity was painting our own Monsters! As part of our new topic this term, Fantasy and Adventure, the children explored Monsters today and used paint, small brushes, and googly eyes to create their own Monster. I'm sure you'll agree they look fantastic.

The beautiful butterflies were finally ready to be released and the children enjoyed taking them out gently and saying goodbye.🦋

We have 5 very wriggly visitors at the nursery and they have already grown so much in just one week. The children are very excited to see what happens next 🐛🦋 💜
