The best Easter holidays with the most perfect girls, even the days we stayed in were just beautiful together. Just enjoying each other.

There’s never a dull moment with this kid around. I think we should all be a little more Luna 😊

My happy girls, we’ve had such a lovely morning. Just a reminder of how much difference a good sleep can make! And some sunshine 😊☀️ Happy Saturday!

These gorgeous beings have been inseparable this weekend. The world is a better place when they get along. Millie is so patient with Luna, she does get annoyed with her impulsive behaviour of course but she is the best big sister I could have ever wished for, for Luna ❤️ I feel like she was chosen specially to have a more complex little sister as she is kind, caring and loving! The perfect fit for the job 🥰

This week we have had a successful swimming session, a job offer, a new leotard, a new doll, we have had tantrums, Millie had a major sleepover with her cousins, we have played in the park, Luna adapted to nursery part time and I had my, much awaited, MRI scan. I also wanted to add a picture of Dolly sleeping with my shoe. That’s her thing. Here’s to the next week and more achievements!

Wait a minute. Where did Christmas go?!

I think I have quite a toxic relationship with Christmas, I expect so much every year, and the pressure is exhausting all to be over in a flash and I’m left broke and wondering what the hell happened!?
Covid obviously didn’t help this year but I was actually so relieved it was over! I have always enjoyed the lead up to Christmas more than the actual day and I think I’m going to keep that in mind for next year, and certainly live more in the moment the whole of December and not focus too much on the 25th!
The girls were happy regardless, Mum and Dad stepped in BIG time! So there is so much to be grateful for also! Until next year AU REVOIR tree. 👋🏼

Luna’ happy place 🐶
In a dog bed with a beautiful pup, Luna is three and she really struggles to regulate her different emotions, she finds herself curled up with with one of the dogs to ground herself and her huge feelings. We have tried breathing techniques, she enjoys yoga but in the moments where she is struggling and can not focus on these strategies she will find her comfort in a cuddle with either our pup Dolly or Auntie’s pup (pictured above) Zaza. ❤️

Ah had the BEST trip out at ! So many animals and the playground kept the girls entertained for hours! So much to discover and explore!

A great sensory activity for EYFS using lots of different techniques with a range of utensils. I used dyed rice, lentils and cereal. The children had so much fun layering up the jars, counting how many scoops it took, talking about all the patterns they noticed and discussing how it made them feel!
