A unique opportunity for an experienced teacher to support the bespoke education of an 11-year-old student in Long Island and while travelling extensively with the family.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹:

- Full-time teaching role based near the family home in Long Island
- Teach one 11-year-old student across the full core curriculum
- Travel globally with the family
- Accommodation provided near the family home
- Car provided
- All travel costs covered by the client
- Opportunity to become a key part of a wider education and childcare team
- Role may later transition into a school support position if the student moves back into school-based education
- Start as soon as practically possible

🎓 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲:
Design and deliver a structured, inspiring educational programme across maths, science, language arts and social studies. Support the student’s academic progress, organisation and goal-setting, while adapting teaching methods to respond to his specific learning needs and helping him flourish.

🌟 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿:
Experienced teachers who are confident teaching across the core curriculum, familiar with the US system, flexible in approach, and able to respond to special educational needs. A background in Special Needs Education is especially valued, ideally supported by a Masters-level qualification.

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁:
An 11-year-old boy who has attended schools in the USA, Switzerland and the UK, and is currently being homeschooled.

𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
Applicants must have the right to live and work in the USA and be willing to work closely with family staff and educators, contribute beyond mainstream teaching, and travel extensively as plans change.
