📖Before the Half Term, Reception had an Author visit at the Lyric Theatre with Sophy Henn. The children had a great time listening to the stories shared and creating their own illustrations!

Year 2 had a visit to Kensington Library and the children got a behind the scenes look at how returned books are sorted!

Well done to Reception for a great class assembly last Friday! They all worked so hard learning their lines and singing their songs!

Year 3 enjoyed a wonderful visit to the River Thames foreshore and Linden House for a workshop with the Thames Explorer Trust. This was to support their learning this year about rivers!

Year 2 enjoyed last weeks trip to the Science Museum where they explored the space gallery for their upcoming science unit on Astronomy 🌌🔭

In Reception's PKC lessons the children have been learning all about the concept of a ‘Coronation’. They learnt that to become King or Queen you need a ‘sceptre, orb and crown’ and you need to make an ‘oath’. The children enjoyed visiting Kensington Palace and were very excited about it being in our local area!

Nursery is really enjoying their new topic Animals and their Babies. They have turned the home corner into a farm shop and have some farm animal dressing up clothes for the children to imagine they live on a farm. This week their story was 'What the Ladybird heard'. They read the story and then went on a sound walk outside so the children could listen and describe all the sounds they could hear.

Y1 Picasso & Y2 Boyce teamed up with TimeGivers last week to bake 170 cookies and pack 56 beautifully decorated bags for the local community 🍪💛

The children showed such kindness, enthusiasm and care, adding thoughtful messages to every bag before they were delivered to Bay20 Community Centre. So proud of the way they lived out our school values! ✨

During circle time Nursery looked at the school values word inspired. They talked about the meaning of the word and how they are inspired each day in their nursery.
