Sound the alarm! 🚨 Reception took over Sutton! 🚒💨

Our students had the best time exploring the station and learning exactly what it takes to be a firefighter. We practiced our aim with the hose, checked out the life-saving equipment, and even saw the blue lights in action!

A quick but important reminder: pupils should never have medication—including cough sweets, hayfever tablets, or Calpol—in their school bag. All medication must be handed directly to the School Office by an adult and a consent form completed. This ensures the right dose is given to the right child at the right time. 🩺

Top Tip: Where possible, we strongly encourage administering medicine outside of school hours. For example, if a medicine is required three times a day, doses can often be given at breakfast, after school and at bedtime.

If your child requires medication at a very specific time that falls during the school day, we may ask you to come into school to give it to them.

Throwback to a fantastic day of discovery! 🦖🦴

A couple of weeks ago, our Year 3 adventurers hopped on the train for an unforgettable trip to the Natural History Museum. It was a day filled with wonder as the children explored everything from the secrets of the Earth to the skeletons of prehistoric giants.

At Cheam Fields, we believe that bringing learning to life through trips like these is vital. Seeing the children's faces light up as they stood beneath the great whale and touched real fossils was a highlight for everyone involved. 🦕

A huge thank you to our staff and parent volunteers who helped make this trip run so smoothly. Our students were fantastic ambassadors for the school throughout the journey!

Year 2 had the best lunchtime! From hula hoop spins to team challenges, our playground was buzzing with energy and laughter. 🏃‍♂️⭕️

We love seeing our children thrive in such a vibrant and supportive environment. There’s no better way to build confidence and coordination than with a bit of fresh air and a lot of teamwork!
