Thank you to the lovely people at Penge Green Gym, Winsford Gardens, SE20, for leaving these wonderful Autumn Colouring Sheets for local children. We've had great fun colouring them in and scavenging in the park to find autumny treasures.

Exciting News! Happy Hippo is expanding!

I am very proud to welcome on-board my daughter, Grace Jelf, who has recently completed her NVQ Level 2 Apprenticeship in Early Years Education and passed with flying colours!

As a Mother/Daughter duo, we are in the unique position to be able to offer the best of both worlds: a small, warm and nurturing home-based setting with not just one, but two qualified members of staff!

We have a lovely selection of toys, books and resources, a safe, enclosed garden, not to mention an excellent 'Welfare Officer' (our very friendly Labrador Retriever named Amber!)

We are both absolutely passionate about Early Years Education and committed to offering the very highest level of childcare.

We are pleased to announce that we currently have several daytime spaces available! Open 8am - 6pm.

Happy Hippo is a warm and welcoming setting for little learners to explore and develop.
Recently graded good by Ofsted, Happy Hippo offers a safe, happy space, for children aged 0-5. With an enclosed back garden, plus a wide variety of engaging toys, resources and books, children are offered the ideal environment in which to flourish and develop key skills across the Early Years curriculum. With regular trips to local parks and other places of interest, children get plenty of fresh air and exercise and get to see different aspects of wildlife and the outdoor world close up! Children at Happy Hippo develop strong bonds with the key adults and other children within the setting.
