It’s been a lovely restful period this Christmas break and we are all re charged for the New Year.

At MHLC we deliver focused tutoring support within the curriculum areas of Maths and English the Montessori way for children aged 6 - 11 years.

We have partnered with Rose House Montessori School for a Parent and Child, Birth to 5, Stay and Play, The Montessori way!

Our Montessori-trained teachers will guide you and your child with interactive, reflective discussions supported by the creative learning principles of Dr Maria Montessori.

-     Join in 90-minutes, Stay and Play the Montessori Way
-     Experience the Montessori curriculum and activities, from birth to 5
-     Enhance your knowledge of the Montessori philosophy
-     Practise observing your child’s natural pace of development
-     Build community as you all have fun

The Montessori Home Learning Centre has designed Trial&Taster sessions to give your child the opportunity to experience Maths&English the Montessori way. Together we can observe and assess if this is the right community for your child.

Ground Rules:

It’s our second week open at MHLC.

This morning a small group of our Lower Elementary children (6to9year olds) helped to create and design the Ground rules board.

We officially opened our doors to a group of Home educated students on Monday the 26th of September.

The children have enjoyed exploring our carefully prepared environment and Montessori materials (some for the very first time)

Observations of the children have highlighted a large interest into drawing which we have been carefully extending through the use of sand paper letters and the Large Moveable Alphabet encouraging the individuals to label and Name their work.
