We have lots of events, activities and planned closures/bank holidays listed, so please be sure to have a look. These will also be displayed in the reception area, as well as in the rooms.

Dates are subject to change, and this will be communicated with you all in advance.

What a holly, jolly Christmas it has been at Wetherell! 🎅🎄

Over the last few weeks, the elves have been busy at work transforming Rainbow room into our very own grotto to welcome Santa - and what an amazing job they have done!

Stockings were hung, letters were sealed and presents were wrapped on behalf of Mr C ready for his arrival on Friday. The children had such a wonderful day chatting to Father Christmas and we're pleased to say that everyone has made the nice list!

Every child had a special present gifted by Santa, along with a special letter.

A very big THANK YOU to Santa for visiting and making this a very special Christmas for all 🎅

Crazy Hair Day August 2025

Thank you to everyone who participated in crazy hair day today!
We had some very colourful and creative designs from feathers to glitter and even some crazy gel! It was lovely to see the children talking about their different hair!

We have some new friends joining us! 🐛🦋

We have had a very special delivery of caterpillars sent to the nurseries that will spend the next few weeks eating and growing before turning into chrysalides. We will then move them into their butterfly house ready for when they use their beautiful wings to break free.

The children are very excited to watch the butterfly lifecycle to unfold in front of their eyes and we will have a variety of activities throughout the next few weeks as the children learn.

BOW EID PARTY MARCH 2025

On Friday 4th March, our Bow team held an Eid party for the children to celebrate the month of Ramadan. We had some amazing activities and a feast for all to enjoy, cooked by our team.

The team had hand baked some shortbread cookies shaped as hands so that the children could use melted chocolate and sprinkles to make their own Mendi designs. We also had Eid themed stamps that the children used to cut into icing and decorate some biscuits.

Tamanna also brought some of her very special Sarees from home so that the children could wear them! She also cooked some of her very yummy Pakoras to share for the party.

Thank you to everyone who participated, the children had such an amazing time!

WORLD BOOK DAY MARCH 2025

Thank you to all of our children who took part in World Book Day yesterday! We had some amazing costumes and we'd like to say a big 'Thank You' to all of our parents who helped their little ones participate.

CHRISTMAS PANTO - DEC24

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who joined us for the pantomime trip to see Dick Whittington last Friday. We had lots of laughs, some amazing singing and even a few dance moves from Lorraine!

We really hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did!
