We are writing with a heavy heart to express our deepest condolences for the loss of Professor Paul McKevitt. The news of his passing has left us in disbelief and profound sorrow. Professor Paul was not just a friend to all of us at AISR, but was also a beacon of kindness, warmth, and joy in our lives.

During the time we worked together, Paul brought us a light of positivity and unwavering support. His laughter was infectious, and his presence could brighten even the darkest days. We will forever cherish the memories we created together, and Professor Paul will always hold a special place in all our (AISR staff) hearts.

May Professor Paul McKevitt rest in peace, and may you , his family find comfort in the love and warmth he shared with us all.

Today in my capacity as the Director of Education and Business Development at Academy for International Science and Research UK (AISR) and Director of Accreditation Services/Lead Inspector at International Curriculum and Assessment Network (ICAN), I met with the Honourable Commissioner for Education Osun State where we discussed how ICAN can help the state in the area of Institutional Accreditation, New Curriculum Development and Continuing Professional Development Accreditation for Institutions in Osun State. With this Development ICAN will compliment the effort of the government of Osun State to improve the quality of education in the state to meet international standard.

Today, as the Director of Accreditation Services/Lead Inspector at International Curriculum and Assessment Network (ICAN-UK) I paid a courtesy visit with my team to the Executive Secretary of National Commission of Colleges of Education, we discussed how we can improve the standard of Teachers Education in Nigeria, International accreditation of Colleges of Education in Nigeria and designing and accreditation of Continuing Professional Programme for Teachers in Nigeria.

ICAN Accreditation involves a thorough evaluation of the course content, delivery modes, and quality assurance arrangements. The course is then benchmarked against the Framework for Higher Education Qualifications Degree-Awarding Bodies in England, Wales and Northern Ireland (FHEQ), the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) and the European Qualification Framework (EQF) qualification systems. Courses will also be benchmarked against the UK National Occupational Standards (NOS). After the evaluation, the course is assigned a benchmarked Level.
