NEW: Early Years Workforce Watch
New Department for Education research has put childcare demand and workforce capacity back in the spotlight.
The expanded entitlement is reaching families at scale—butonly 57% of surveyed providers agreed that they could meet demand. Staffing shortages were among the barriers reported, alongside limited space and demand for particular days or sessions.
We have looked at the findings through the lens we know best: Early Years recruitment and the people nurseries need.
