In KS1 on Friday, we had a very exciting visit from Ranger Stu, who brought along a variety of amazing animals for the children to meet and learn about! The children were fascinated to see and hear about a rat, snake, tortoise, lizard, tarantula spider, and even an armadillo.
It was a fantastic learning experience, helping the children build confidence, curiosity, and respect for wildlife. Thank you, Ranger Stu, for such an engaging and memorable visit! 🐍🦎🐢🕷️🦔

Over the last two weeks, Year 4 have been sewing a hem and added an embroidery inspired by William Morris who liked to used flowers, parts of plants and animals within his work. The Year 4 teachers are very thankful for Miss Cory's sewing club last year as it has clearly come in handy. Well done Year 4!

It’s been a very busy day in Chawla Class yesterday! The children have worked incredibly hard, and we are so proud of them for coming first in the attendance league for the third time this year—what a fantastic achievement!
They also had lots of fun making their own sandwiches and enjoyed a movie with popcorn as a special treat. A brilliant day all around—well done everyone! Have a happy Easter and enjoy your holiday!

The children had an amazing time at LEGO club this term! We discussed what makes a great city and what it would need to include. They then brought their ideas to life, working together to build a fantastic LEGO city full of creativity and imagination. It’s been wonderful to see how much fun they’ve had while sharing ideas and creating something together. Well done, everyone!

Our trip to Eltham Library was really fun and exciting. When we arrived, the librarian welcomed us and read us a lovely book, bringing the story to life with her expressive voice. She also showed us how we can borrow books for free, which made us even more excited to come back and read more. One of the best parts of the visit was going into the enchanted story garden, where we got to sit together and read a magical story. It was a wonderful experience that made us all enjoy reading even more.

Well done to the winners of the Bishop Ridley Road Safety Competition.
This competition was organised by Louie French (MP) to support the School Council’s road safety work as they have been standing up for others in the local community and encouraging adults to park sensibly and drive safely.
The winning entries received a stationery set from the House of Commons and had their posters printed in giant size to be displayed around the school area and The Green.
Well done to Eloise, Scarlett, Ernie and Daley Class
