Okay, so...
people often ask how much time or how many lessons they would need to get a good grasp of a foreign language. Or, to get to their desired level.

It all depends on your current level, of course.
A good grasp of any language?
We can look on it as B1... better yet, B2 level.
Each person could adopt a level in a year.
When I say 'adopt', I mean master it (as much as it can be mastered).
Additionally, quality and quantity (or, frequency) of practice and practical use are very important.

I'm not a fan of those quick, intensive courses: 'Master a level in 3-4 months, even 2'.
It can be done to some degree.

However, how long will that knowledge last... within our long-term memory?
Would it be authentically implemented?

There are many other factors related to this topic, but for now, quite enough...
