Injectable platelet-rich fibrin (i-PRF) has been generating a lot of interest as a way to speed up orthodontic treatment - but does the evidence actually support it? 🤔

A recent randomised controlled trial looked at whether i-PRF injections could meaningfully reduce overall treatment duration in extraction cases. The findings are more nuanced than most of the conversation around i-PRF suggests.
