CUSP ✅
After tickets sold out in minutes, it was brilliant to see the first edition fully live up to the hype.
Two hands-on days at with and - and the energy in the room was something else 🔥
40 attendees across the two days. Structured teaching, real clinical discussion, and protocols you can take straight into practice.
A few words from those who were there 👇🏽
“The presentations were absolutely phenomenal!!!”
“Brilliant day! Feeling very inspired and looking forward to implementing in practice!”
“Fantastic course! Realistic, applies to general practice NHS & private.”
“Having clear protocols rather than a jumble of different ideas - makes it very clear!”
Thank you to everyone who came along, and to our partners 👏🏽

The conventional approach says wait - introduce elastics once levelling and alignment are complete 🦷
It’s a logical protocol. But a recent study found something that’s making a lot of clinicians reconsider their timing.
The results are worth knowing about 👉🏼

Your patients are probably going to ask about pain after root canal treatment (RCT). They almost always do.
What’s less obvious is how much your material and technique choices influence the answer - and what a recent study found when it put two common approaches head to head 👉🏼

Implant success is decided long before you pick up a handpiece.
Case selection, risk assessment, and treatment planning are just as important as surgical skill - and for most dentists, that’s where real confidence is built 👏🏽
The foundation isn’t just technique. It’s having a system you can trust, case after case 👨🏼💻

Are you starting implant training too early - or too late? 🤔
It’s a question most dentists ask at some point. Start too soon and it can feel overwhelming. Wait too long and you risk holding back your own growth.
But the honest answer is that timing matters less than most people think.

Implant overdentures are rarely as simple as “how many implants?”
On the 27th of March at 10am, will be unpacking the clinical thinking behind implant-supported mandibular overdentures - and how that translates into everyday practice 👩🏻💻
From key procedural stages to common challenges and practical solutions, this session will explore what really influences outcomes - and how to approach cases with greater clarity and confidence.

“Do I really need to wear them 22 hours a day?” If you provide aligners, you’ve heard this before.
A 2025 randomised trial compared 12 hours vs 22 hours of wear in very mild crowding - and the results make for an interesting clinical discussion.

AI chatbots are increasingly being used by patients to get instant answers, especially during orthodontic emergencies.
But how accurate, and how safe is that information? 🤔
A recent study put several AI chatbots to the test in common orthodontic emergency scenarios.
Because whether we invite it or not, AI is already part of the patient pathway. Scroll through to see what they found 👉🏼

3.5 billion people live with oral disease - it’s a statistic we see often, but it’s easy to become desensitised to it 🌍
Behind that statistic are real people living with pain, difficulty eating, reduced confidence, and preventable disease.
The encouraging part? Most oral diseases are preventable.
World Oral Health Day is a reminder that what we do every day in practice - educating, preventing, intervening early - genuinely matters.
What’s one small prevention conversation you could start this week? 👇🏽

Why don’t my composites look the way I pictured them? 🤔
It’s rarely one big mistake.
More often, it’s small details - isolation, layering, contacts, occlusion - adding up. Predictable composites come from repeatable workflows.
If you’d like to refine your posterior composite workflow and deliver more consistent results in clinic, explore our 4 week Complete Composites course via the link in our bio.

AI chatbots are increasingly being used by patients for instant answers - especially during orthodontic emergencies 👩🏻💻
A recent study compared several major AI platforms to see how accurately they responded to common ortho emergency scenarios.
While some tools provided broadly reasonable general advice, the quality and safety of responses varied. None consistently matched the clinical judgement of a trained dentist, and some answers lacked important nuance.
The takeaway? AI may already be part of the patient journey, but responsibility for safe, context-specific advice still rests firmly with the clinician 🦷
As patients turn to AI first, how should we adapt our communication and guidance in practice? 👇🏽
