I am finally accepting that I have to stop waiting for someone to hand me their magic wand.

For so long, I tried to look, behave, think and feel like other people, in the hope of being normal and fitting in…and just felt ever more weird and other.

I paid to learn strategies that had worked for someone who wasn’t me, with a life/personality/business that wasn’t mine, at a time that wasn’t now, and wondered why they didn’t deliver the same results as the person teaching them had got.

I can learn something from everyone…but no one else’s way can be my way. It’s my responsibility to find my own way.

It’s a little scary.

And a lot liberating!
