It’s not easy to find the right words, but we want to say the biggest, warmest thank you for being part of the SJSP journey. As our doors close, our hearts are absolutely full- small school, big heart!

What a day! Highbury Fields came alive with laughter, cheers and a whole lot of friendly competition at our annual Sports Day! From the classic egg-and-spoon race to the epic tug of war, the energy was off the charts 💪🥚🏃‍♂️

We wrapped it all up with a sunny picnic in the park, sharing snacks, stories and smiles. A huge thank you to everyone who made the day unforgettable! Especially to Coach Marla for teaching the children the skills in preparation for this day, coordinating and organising the event for us.

Our budding adventurers visited the Islington Boat Club for a thrilling water sports taster session—today’s mission: kayaking! From learning to paddle with confidence to navigating the canal like pros-in-the-making, it’s all about teamwork, courage, and a splash of fun. 💦

We can’t wait to hear all about their water-fuelled adventures. Let the paddling begin! 🌊🛶

🍰 Parents/carers, please drop off your marvellous creations in the Lower Hall on Friday morning- our judges will be judging throughout the day.

🕞 Join us at 3:30pm-4:30pm for our cake tasting extravaganza. We can’t wait to see you there!

Our Year 5 class met with other schools at St Mary’s Church in Islington for an Interfaith Morning this morning. The children spoke with people from different faiths and worldviews and had the opportunity to ask some very thought provoking questions. Thank you to all the speakers and the amazing RE Leads for organising such an interesting event.

A huge thank you to the Department for Education for their incredible Nature Grant, helping our school turn dull, grey spaces into thriving green environments. Through their commitment to promoting biodiversity, students at St Jude and St Paul's are getting hands-on experience in reshaping their surroundings.

Another special shoutout to Rachel from RHS - Royal Horticultural Society for an inspiring career talk- opening young minds to the many paths Science offers such as gardening to research! 🌱🔬

We’re inviting all parents and children to take part in the Great British Science Bake Off! 🎉

Whip up some Science-Themed/Inspired bakes at home- think erupting volcano cakes or planetary cupcakes.

Bring your delicious baked treats into school to share and join us at the end of the day at 3:30-4:30pm for the cake tasting.

Get creative in the kitchen- we can't wait to see your creations! 🍪✨

The children were extremely excited to meet Buddy the speech bubble as part of our series of assemblies and workshops with for the ‘Speak out Stay safe’ programme. We have been discussing what to do if we don’t feel safe and identifying safe adults who we can talk to when necessary.

Our Year 6 Beluga Whale Class arrived at .adventures at Osmington Bay yesterday. After our first hearty meal we braved the rain and completed our first activity- Archery Tag!

Thank you very much to Bishopsgate for a brilliant pizza making session this morning. The children loved making their pizzas and enjoyed the whole morning (particularly the eating part!).
