From September 2026, pupils in Years 7 and 8 living in households receiving Universal Credit will be able to apply for the Welsh Government's expanded Free School Meals scheme, following the removal of the income threshold 🍴
This is the first phase of a wider rollout to other secondary school year groups 🏫
