What a ! Lots of string drama today - with the strings suffering a bit after the hot weather... they did not want to stay in tune!

Regardless, we manage to do lots of bow control work - stylistic features classical works, and different slurring patterns. Of course, we also played lots of scales - Db major, Bb major, E major being the main challenge this week.

It’s been such a brilliant few weeks … shining, singing and playing…

I’ve had a few students in the last few weeks start working on pieces in this book and I always see this as such a massive .

You can read enough notes to play fantastic pieces, you can hold your instrument and now you’re developing on what you know and more…

You might be feeling the step up in difficulty (it’s tricky isn’t it!) but remember, each day is a step forward in your own journey!

Keep up the good work - super proud of you all!
