Yn ddiweddar, bu disgyblion Blwyddyn 7 a Blwyddyn 8 yn cymryd rhan mewn cystadleuaeth greadigol oedd yn cyfuno celf â’r Dyniaethau, gan archwilio’r themâu mannau sanctaidd a hawliau anifeiliaid. Roedd y safon yn arbennig o uchel, gyda’r disgyblion yn cyflwyno gwaith oedd yn dangos creadigrwydd, dealltwriaeth a myfyrdod ar y pynciau.
Dyma’r pum enillydd:

Hoffem hefyd roi canmoliaeth arbennig i Arwena, Saran, Aila, Mabon, Gethin, Joe, Ben, Eiddon, Natalia, Efa, Cadi a Luca am waith o safon uchel.
Diolch yn fawr hefyd i holl athrawon y Dyniaethau am eu harweiniad drwy gydol y gystadleuaeth, ac i Mr Llion Jones am feirniadu’r gystadleuaeth.
Bydd y pum enillydd yn mynd ymlaen i gynrychioli’r ysgol yng nghystadleuaeth genedlaethol Spirited Arts NATRE. Pob lwc iddynt!
Recently, our Year 7 and Year 8 pupils took part in a creative competition that combined art and the Humanities, exploring the themes of sacred places and animal rights. The standard of work was exceptionally high, with pupils producing thoughtful and creative entries that demonstrated imagination, understanding and reflection on these important topics.
Our five prize winners were:

🥉 3rd: Lwsi
🎖️ 4th: Miley
🎖️ 5th: Ena
We would also like to give a special mention to Arwena, Saran, Aila, Mabon, Gethin, Joe, Ben, Eiddon, Natalia, Efa, Cadi and Luca for producing work of an exceptionally high standard.
A huge thank you also to all of our Humanities teachers for their guidance throughout the competition, and to Mr Llion Jones for judging the entries.
The five winners will now go on to represent the school in the national Spirited Arts NATRE competition. We wish them the very best of luck!
